RKO or STONE COLD STUNNER
AGAINST MY BETTER JUDGMENT (Paladin tier 2 #whattup #BlackwingLair) I am curious to parse the thoughts of the ever-wondrous minds of the TPWWforums.com Wrestling Forum's finest to see where they stand on this crucial question. So curious I am going VINTAGE MODE avec font modes.
Right now IN THIS VERY RING (of life) we are witnessing the RKO at its apex (predator) of popularity. It has become a meme in of itself, being used in Vines (#ToutSucks) and even witnessed by futbol gentlemangs and undoubtedly your social media feeds have been brought to a STANDSTILL by Randy Orton dropping jaws of your usual abundance of BuzzFeed and HuPo links (top 10 gifs of Dolph Ziggler OW OW OW) That all being said, the Undisputed Champion of the Not-Jericho-First-Ever-#Best Finishing Move is the STONE COLD STUNNER SPOILER: show BAH GAWD So flawlessly performed (except when it wasn't) and a big fat MIDDLE FINGER n|m in the face of authority m|n, the Stunner is known worldwide as a devastating maneuver. However, The RKO is renowned as being dealt ruthlessly out of GOD DAMN NOWHERE like a goddamn spider monkey on acid. Its versatility is unmatched. Austin's move was way devastating but c'mon: SPOILER: show Youtube doesn't wanna embed, losing some of the LUSTRE of posting this vid but here's a hot link: http://youtu.be/2_W2kjimv8E some of those are 2 sicc SO CAST YOUR GODDAMN VOTES, MONGRELS poll2cum *mic drop* \_0__/ \__0_/ Regards, road doggy dogg |

That is what I anticipate the majority to feel as well. I am curious if the recent surge in RKO popularity will have an effect on its perception as a viable finisher in the pantheon of wrasslin' finishers of all time

I couldn't tell who that was at first, and then he saluted, and I'm just like "oh, Santino".

The Stunner and it isn't even close. Boreton's RKO looks like crap. DDP made it good, but even then - Stunner wins.

I've got to say Stunner because of the impact and just iconic status of it at this point.
I was really strongly tempted to say RKO, though, just because it can come OUTTA NOWHERE. |

RKO way better to me. Looks more impactfull and comes outta nowhere.
Austin would often stunner people outta nowhere, but it wasn't as out of nowhere as an RKO out of nowhere. |

I was over the stunner after the 19th time Austin showed up and cleared the ring with a dozen stunners and everyone just stood around waiting their turn.

This could go either way. I'm not voting because it depends on circumstances for me.

Y'know, as infamous as the RKO is for being "OUTTA NOWHERE," so many of those allegedly surprising finishes are either just reversals into a standing position and hitting a normal RKO from there, or the opponent attempting to hit the dreaded Flying Nothing off of the top rope-- you know, where the guy jumps but doesn't move like he's going for a clothesline or a cross-body or anything at all, and dives formlessly right into Randy's waiting arms. It's like back in WCW when guys who never did powerbombs would suddenly attempt to powerbomb Billy Kidman and we were supposed to be surprised when he hit a facebuster.
And again, DDP did it better. |

The only good Stunner reversal was the Sweet Chin Music where he spun HBK around and kicked him in the stomach for the Stunner. So good. But other "reversals" into Stunners pale in comparison to the RKO ones, telegraphed as they may be.

Notice how no wrestler ever in the history of any match of all time in worldly events gets hung up on the 2nd rope UNLESS they're facing Mysterio? From a kayfabe standpoint it's infuriating to watch his matches because of that for me. |

The Bourne “Air Bourne counter to RKO” was already posted, so I went with the old RKO to Rob Van Dam. Dunno about everyone else, but looks fucking badass to me. |

Although Tony Doggy Dogg is a gay homosexual poo eater (LOL), I'm actually inclined to agree with him that the RKO, is infact, better than the Stone Cold Stunner (and if not better, it's atleast cooler).
RKO is awesome since you can hit it out of nowhere and completely blindside someone. It just looks cooler when you blindside someone (i.e. Orton on Jericho in that video). With a Stunner however, one gets kicked in the abdomen first, but still has a small chance of getting out of it. For instance, The Rock in numerous instances when he fought Austin. For me - RKO > Stunner. RKO is my favorite finisher of all-time and I would personally use the RKO if I was a wrestler. Also - I got drunk last Friday and texted some guy a picture of my dick for shits and giggles. |

Austin was the better wrestler, Orton has the better move.
