Tuneup Companion alternative?
Okay, so Windows Media Player decided to rename a fuckton of my tracks for no reason (The option to "correct" files is unticked, but it did it anyway because ponies).
I'm editing them by hand when I find them, but there's a shit load. I tried Tuneup companion, but it hangs in the trial version, so no way am I buying it, and I tried Musicbrainz Picard but it's not giving me good results and I can't quite wrap around how to fix it. I'm looking for other solutions to help me look for fucked up tracks. Preferably free or cheap. “There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.” --John Rogers |

Metatogger's not that bad, by the way. It's not perfect, kinda slow and lacks some basic user interface features I'd like, but it's straightforward, PRETTY accurate, and free.
Just in case anyone else was looking for something like this. |
