Today I came across some murder magazine in a shop and it had Chris Benoit's face on the front along with other faces and the headline of "Famous Murders!" or something along those lines. Anyway, I decided to give the article a quick read and it was most likely the biggest bunch of bullshit I've ever read. It was quite obvious the guy who wrote the article didn't have a clue what he was talking about and that no real research went into the article.
In a nutshell, the article was written like a fiction novel, it made several references to "roid rage" and none to the condition of Benoit's brain. The majority of the article wasn't really about Benoit but more about the Pro-Wrestling industry. The article said that Benoit, Triple H, Vince McMahon, Eddie Guerrero, The British Bulldog and all The Von Erich's are/were all steroids abusers, and this was written in a way that it was pretty much saying that this was fact, though the guy had nothing to back it up with. He then said that steroids and "roid rage" were the reasons behind the deaths of Eddie, Bulldog and "All the Von Erichs", again, showing that no proper research was conducted, as Kevin Von Erich is still alive and that three of his bothers committed suicide and David died of a heart attack. It was just one of those "The Pro-Wrestling industry is evil!" stories but for some reason, it was in a murder magazine. |

I watched those Royal Rumble matches again and in 2003, both guys are in the ring at the same time, but the only physical altercation they have with each other is Kane punching Eddie once in the face and that's it. In the 2005 Royal Rumble match, Eddie is eliminated before Kane enters. |

Gonna have to torrent all the original ECW stuff, the Mikey Whipwreck/Tajiri stuff in the 1st set was tremendous and Shane Douglas should be in the HOF already.
I might be reaching on the last part. |

Me neither. I never saw any of him before WCW that I remember, but I always enjoyed him on there.

Yeah, it's a pity because he could of made a lot of money off the ECW stuff Vince churns out.

Probably because they wear them for an insane amount of time. This bone needs 8 months to heal let me wear the cast for 4 years.

Think it was a legit injury but he had a cast on for a while in ECW too. Woulda had more success if he'd taken Francine with him.

I really liked Revolution too, which is a bit odd because I don't really like Malenko or Benoit. But I generally loved everything that was going on at the end of WCW. I had no idea at the time why guys would be constantly disappearing and the title was getting vacated left, right and centre but I dunno, just enjoyed it all. I was a dumb kid.

Everything up to the main event was pretty solid, even if most of it made no sense sense week later.

Yeah I had no clue what was going on at the time since all I had to go on was whatever I saw on the tv, and no internet or anything like that. Was really fun. I loved the main event picture too. The transition into the Jarrett/Booker T/Steiner era was really good I thought.

Plus DDP, Goldberg and Sting were still knocking about most the time in the main event and I love those three.

Was a huge Billy Kidman fan as well, and when he started feuding with Hogan I got so excited. Love rooting for underdogs.

Watching my daughter play netball. Umpire just pulled one of the girls up for holding the ball and told her she only has 3 seconds. I'm expecting the worst.
