Do you still consider Jeff Hardy a "WWE guy"
Looking at Jeff Hardy's career as a whole, even though he had plenty of success in the WWE, do you still consider him a "WWE guy" when talking about him? He's spent more time and had much more success in TNA than he ever did in WWE (technically, he probably wouldn't of gotten a World Title run in 08 if he hadn't of had so much success in TNA) Do you consider him a WWE guy or a TNA guy?

If anything, I consider him the poster child for the JNCO revolution.

WWE guy. He definitely hasn't spent more time or had more success in TNA than WWE. He also didn't win the world title 'til like 2009 I think and that had nothing whatsoever to do with anything he ever did in TNA.

that said, his heel character in TNA when he joined (I wanna say Immortal?) was the most interesting he's ever been for me, would like to have seen him have the chance to do that in WWE

Answer this: Do you consider Kurt angle a TNA guy?
Same answer will be for Jeff Hardy. He was a WWE star who had nice runs in TNA but his true biggest success is in the WWE. Angle has been in TNA FAR longer than his WWE run, but he is a WWE guy. |

I just think of it as where your biggest appeal to fans were.
Rick Rude is WWF guy, I think we could all agree. Yet if you wanted to state his greatest "success" would be in WCW where he was a main eventer and the top champion. Yet his fame and exposure in the WWE made him a bigger star than his WCW run |

WWE Triple H vs Jeff Hardy vs Edge in Triple... by randy-savage1 And @ the first post, as for Hardy's '04-'06 TNA run, I think it's debatable how popular he was during those years. Yes, fans still loved him but other than give him a new nickname ("The 'Charismatic Enigma'"), not a lot was done to really re-invent him, and even this current thing with his "alter ego", Willow is just a reference for fans old and educated enough to recognize an old gimmick from his pre-WWF days. Neither of those were meant as criticisms, gentlemen, the first was simply a gentle correction, albeit supported by video evidence, the second part is just my opinion except the part about his secondary gimmick. |

I think fans would probably think of A.J. Styles as a TNA guy no matter where he ended his career because he's been there since day 1 and is an original superstar created by TNA.

He would go to the WWE and be a jobber/midcarder and we would still think of him as a TNA guy. If he blew up like Bryan and headlined wrestlemania he would be a wwe guy. If Daniel bryan went the Ziggler route and never made it out of the mid card, I think people would still consider him a ROH guy. |

I'd say yes. In terms of career length, he's spent almost the same amount of time in TNA but the bulk of his memorable stuff occurred in the WWE.
