Pretty harsh round as Rob Van Dam's in the twilight years of his career, while Neville has only really just started to shine in WWE. This round goes to RVD for me, but Neville is awesome.

Neville.
A lot of People probably don't know how good a heel RVD was in ECW I give him his props but even as a heel he was all flash he didn't really change a thing about his style or attitude Neville's heel run has saved himself (and the WWE cruiserweight division) There was a Jericho podcast where Jericho stresses the importance of taking away everything that makes fans cheer for you when you turn heel. Neville did just that he became a lot more vicious and grounded and started using the rings of Saturn he wore black and stripped his entrance. On top of that he added a magnificent scowl and promos nobody thought he had in him. He has yet to make truly effective use of his body double/clone dragon Tony Nese but outside of that he is a heels heel arrogant, manipulative and he's just been great all without 10'000 crazy flips. The King of The Crusierweights deserves his throne. |

Neville's the man but he made his initial name for himself in the industry by being a total spot monkey, and RVD set the standard for that that everybody else followed.

But again he was able to switch it up RVD only has one mode and that is spot monkey heel or face Ziggler is the same way he still wrestles like a face in a desperate struggle as a heel it kinda doesn't work going 100mph. Even heels in Lucha Underground seem to understand that as a heel your style changes.

RVD.
Van Damninator is one of my favourite moves in wrestling and he must be of Polish descent with a last name like Szatkowski. Don't know much about Neville other than the fact his ears are fucking ridiculous and his bulge in that pic is piercing a hole in my soul. |

I honestly think that RVD is the right choice here, but I simply refuse to vote against Neville right now. He's shit hot at the moment, and I think he's doing the best heel work in all of WWE, outside of Kevin Owens. I was also a big fan of his feud with Sami Zayn in NXT. Neville's the shit. Sorry RVD. I still love you too.

If Neville keeps doing what he's doing he might end up being better than RVD, but for right now RVD kills it. An awesome 6 months from Neville and some cool stuff here and there from him for the rest of his career doesn't match up to RVD's awesome career.

Neville is awesome, but hasn't done enough to go over RVD. Maybe in 2-3 years, this will look very different.
Would love to see Neville being a heel with main roster, bit for now, RVD has been there and done that, and had great success doing it. |

If the Cruiserweight divisions sticks around then Neville has the ability to become a legend. That's a big if though.

Give the edge to RVD.
Liked a lot of RVD's stuff while Neville's greatness has been more recent at least in regards to WWE stuff. Neville could surpass him within a few years if he can build off the current heel run momentum. Stronger chance if he becomes the Rey Mysterio of 205 Live in regards to being the big star that breaks out of the division and goes onto to bigger things. |

Rvd on legacy alone.
Right now. But Neville will eclipse that soon enough provided he keeps injury free. |

RVD by a mile. Neville has only been great for a few months. Give him another decade as a top performer and then we'll talk.....

That is not something I would say. I also explained that pretty clearly a few posts ago in this thread.
