NOT THREAD WORTHY SO HERE YOU GO:
It is being reported that Chris Masters is going to be given a push in 2011 after the Royal Rumble match. Does he deserve it? Do you think, if it happens, he will get over? What do you think of Masters in MITB? |

so it looks like MVP was not only cleared to work in Japan (barred due to his prison sentence) but now has inked a deal with New Japan Wrestling. Good for him.

I knew where I had heard that scream at the start of the Elimination Chamber promo from before, as soon as I heard it last night.

I originally posted the following whilst recounting my thoughts on RAW, but thought it should also stand on its own in here:
"I just now witnessed a Vasaline body wash commercial that prominently featured the Uso's theme. I know it's a production work, but geez, that usually doesn't happen till the person at least gets new music." Does this mean a future endeavor is in the works? |

Finally, the WWE is focusing on new talent
Over the past year or so, the WWE took a swerve from their past years of overusing over talent and wrestling legends children as top stars and began bringing in new faces with new names.
Now, we look at Miz, Morrison, Alberto Del Rio, Nexus, Corre, and many many more. Another great thing is that most of the new wrestlers of today aren't TRIPLE H/Cena looking dudes, but more of the Christian look. Any chance of cruiserweight division returning under Triple H when he takes over the in the next 2 years? Will we see more comedy movies and decent films come out of WWE Films with some of these young faces? Will we see more developed wrestlers who can actually wrestle instead of roided out dudes who can't wrestle to save their lives (cena, khali, kane). What's your take on WWE's push for new talent? Discuss. The Leader of The Adam Evans Fan Club! |

I like how the WWE uses older wrestlers as mentors on shows like NXT and Tough Enough, and with segments that air once in awhile... instead of everynight as their main storylines (cough TNA cough).

Well WWE pretty much had to bring in some new blood. The older generation of wrestlers have died, left, retired or heading to retirement soon. There's no Eddie or Benoit, Taker is getting old, HBK has retired, Triple H is on his way out to say the least. Kane, Big Show, and Edge are the only ones still wrestling off the top of my head. I can see Jericho retiring from active wrestling in a few years.
And actually there are still a lot of new big dudes. Skip Sheffield, Mason Ryan, McGillicuty, Husky Harris, Tyler Reks, Ezekial, Wade, etc. |

Some of the talent deserves pushes like Morrison and Ziggler. Miz and Del Rio maineventing Wrestlemania is awful to me. I think Miz has been awful as champion and Del Rio, while decent in the ring, does not scream main event at Wrestlemania. The ones that deserve to be pushed like Morrison are constantly halted in their pushes. Miz's only good singles matches have been with Morrison and one he had with Cena on RAW a while back. Now Cena-Miz going into Mania doesn't bother me. I just don't like how they randomly halted that feud, though Orton-Punk intrigues me. Morrison, Christian, Danielson, Mcintyre, Sheamus, Ziggler, and Barrett are all good and deserve pushes. Miz has the worst ring skills out of everybody listed here and he gets pushed to the moon. His matches are lackluster and his mic skills while good are not the best thing ever. Del Rio definitely isn't awful in the ring as he is capable of good matches. I think his mic work is weak, but Morrison who is better in the ring, but limited on the mic gets screwed over. Push the right younger talent instead of The Miz. |

I love the youth movement it's helped breath some life into a product that's been fairly stale for a while. Don't get me wrong I love me some 'Taker and HHH but as stated before they just can't go forever. The Miz is in my opinion the perfect example of 'tomorrows' superstar and guys like him, Swagger, Morrison, and Sheamus have already proven they can indeed run with the big dogs. Del Rio's push has IMO been a bit rushed and I don't really think he's ready for 'mania just yet, but then again I could be wrong I mean if you had asked me if Miz would ever be WWE champion even a year ago I would have laughed in your face so Del Rio may very well step up and prove to the world that he is indeed a future Superstar.

I agree with you about Miz and I like CM Punk, Wade Barrett, Justin Gabriel, Mason Ryan, Michael Mcuillicutty and Ezekiel Jackson. I don't think Heath Slater, David Otunga and Husky Harris especially are good at all. But the bulk of the Nexus and the Core is good. I think Morrison is one of the best guys on the roster and I really get pissed at how they only push him so much. Del Rio is okay. I agree as his ring skills are decent.
