Also by Radiohead - How I Made My Millions. Just Thom Yorke and a piano. Big Ideas is just him and an acoustic guitar, he played it at the concert I went to in December and it was amazing.

Neither song is on any album.

Radiohead - Exit Music (for a film) is the most depressing song I've ever heard. Second place goes to Street Spirit (fade out) by them too.

I love "Mad World". It's actually a Michael Andrews song featuring Gary Jules, though.

It puts me in a very reflective mood. There is a flash cartoon series you should see. One of the episodes uses that song, and it just goes together with the art so well.

I think Thom Yorke just kinda sings in that kinda depressing way and the band follows him with this melodic hypnotic tune. Most people immeadiately put Radiohead in the depressing category just because of how they sound.

Most of their songs are pretty damn dreary and miserable, but this one's fairly minimalistic by their standards.

i was gonna say black by pearl jam as well, along with indifference. all apologies by nirvana, and almost any early sabbath song (with ozzy) killing yourself to live and sabbath bloody sabbath come to mind immediantly. hurt by NIN is another good one allready mentioned.

AFI - Morningstar. That song actually makes me feel like I could commit suicide at times.

INME - Firefly

Taking Back Sunday - Great Romances of the 20th century. If you've heard the demo version...that's way more emotional.

Blink 182 - Adams song

Brand New - Sic Transit Gloria

East 17 - Stay another day. (I don't care, I like that song! It makes me cry!)

Sinead O' Connor - Nothing compares 2 U
