Is Matt Hardy... Underrated?
So whether you hate or love the Final Deletion storyline lets be honest here... this is quite possibly the most anybody has talked about TNA since Hogan coming in 2010. Now, Jeff has always been the stand out member of the team since they went their separate ways. Looking back at Matt's current run in TNA, from the "finally trying to win the big one" at BFG last year, to Big Money Matt and the Matt Hardy Brand, to now the "Broken Matt Hardy", he's had some of the best work recently in any company. Do you feel that Matt Hardy is underrated in the world of professional wrestling or is it a situation where the "standard" is so low, anything mediocre looks amazing? FEELS LIKE I'M WEARING NOTHING AT ALL NOTHING AT ALL NOTHING AT ALL |

Matt was always amazing. Don't know anything about TNA but always thought he was underrated in the WWE.

Matt's always been able to evolve his character whether he was in WWE, ROH, or TNA. Yes really creative and has single handedly got people talking about TNA.

A wizard, Ruein, never goes into the wrong thread. He posts precisely where he means to.

Jeff's always been the Spot guy that jumped off of things. Matt's always been the ring general that made sure everything else in the match was good.
Yea, Matt's been underrated by the WWE. Something I always think back to: Edge sent Matt packing in a Loser Leaves Raw match that was 100% formulated to make Edge look like a million bucks, and Matt like a total chump. Months later, they have a big Raw vs Smackdown Tag match, with the two of them on opposing sides. Edge runs down the members of Team SmackDown, and whenever he gets to Matt he says something like "...and Matt Hardy, I beat him for 6 months in a row, I stole his girl and I ended his career on Raw! I shouldn't even be in the ring with him, because he's my bitch & he doesn't deserve it!" Matt's onscreen reaction to Edge's comments? He basically goes "Yes, sir " and makes a mopey face as he walks away. That basically sums up the WWE's opinion on Matt Hardy. |

There have been times when Matt Hardy has been sublime. He was a highlight of SmackDown around 2003. The fiasco with Edge and Lita made him one of the hottest talents of 2005. The company stomped him into the ground and by 2010 he was somewhat exhausted as a personality. Perhaps it wasn't that he didn't want to change, but he felt stale as fuck by that point in time.
If he left TNA and returned to the WWE I'm sure he could contribute. |

My money's on No
They didn't start with the whole "Tell me a lie, and say you won't go " retirement thing until after he smashed Del Rio's momentum at Wrestlemania. The general rule: If you go, You put over the next guy before you leave. I mean, that's been hung over Bret Hart's head for the last 20 years LMAO To me, the entire thing just smacked of shoehorning this tearjerker ending onto Edge's career where he got to ride off into the sunset as an undefeated champion and not "make" anybody on his way out. This was after he spent his entire career getting put over as The Ultimate Opportunist, collecting World Championships from people when their backs were turned |

Oh my fucking god, somebody actually made it This is so appropriate on so many levels, it's like a quadruple-entendre or something Maybe then, we'll never say goodbye, Edge! T_T |

Voted nah mostly because I feel he's right where he is in terms of value. Someone who can find ways to stay relevant or fresh once in a while but not someone you'd consider revolving a company around for a long period of time.
In terms of singles stuff, feels like he's been better in TNA than in WWE although he had moments of greatness in both companies (ex. V1 era, Broken era). |

Never found myself interested in him enough to really care. Felt he was at his best when the "real" drama of Edge, Lita and him started up and played out.
