Acting in music videos (Mini rant, I guess)
I was going through all my T.V channels just a minutes ago and I passed a music video channel, but what made me stop was that there was no singing happening.
Instead there was some really bad acting. I have noticed that it's mostly rappers that act in there videos. But the worst case I have seen is the acting in Green Days video for Wake Me Up When September Ends, where the guy and the girl are in the cornfield talking about some crap and it takes about 10/15 minutes to get the song started. Then after about 3 minutes of Green Day singing, it goes back to about 7 minutes of more bad acting. So, all I'm saying is that it really annoys the hell outta me when there is acting in a music video. Done. |

I dunno, I never saw a music video more then 4 minues long, so maybe they do things different where you live.

I wanna call my local radio station and tell them September ended and they can stop play that fucking song ever 15 minutes.

The strange thing is that they actually got "proper" actors to do that Green Day video as well...

I don't mind some story in videos if it gives more meaning to the song.
