God, the Knicks are REALLY bad when Lin is on the bench.

Yeah, as soon as Lin is taken out the team looks lost. Crazy how no other PG on the roster can even be competent in running the team. Biggest reason why Baron Davis needs to get back.

Conversely, the Knicks are PRETTY good when Lin is on the court.

Steve Novak was amazing today. He's one guy I really hope he doesn't get lost in the shuffle once Melo returns. So many clutch threes.

Celtics stunk against the Pistons and now are on a streak of having a really bad quarter every game.
ESPN is dealing with some problems involving comments made about Lin because they fired the person in charge of ESPN mobile headlines, suspended 1 ESPN News anchor for a month, and might drop one of their radio commentators/shows as part of their ESPN Radio rotation. http://espn.go.com/espn/story/_/id/7...y-lin-comments |

Disappointing loss tonight. Melo looked increadibly rusty. Hopefully they can get that worked out with a tough schedule coming up.

vs. Hawks
@ Heat vs. Cavs @ Celtics @ Mavs @ Spurs @ Bucks vs. Sixers @ Bulls vs. Blazers vs. Pacers @ Pacers Yeah...fuck. I'd be happy if they can somehow pull out of that stretch with a 7-5 record. |

Pretty sure the Bulls and Thunder are the only team that have a legitimate chance of beating the Heat in a 7 game series at this point. Fuck.
This is probably why I can't get get fully invested in the NBA. It's February and yet everything between now and the late rounds of the playoffs just feels like a formality. |

Heat will fall apart in the playoffs again once the pressure and spotlight goes back on Lebron. If anything the lack of the spotlight due to Lin lets Miami play well right now compared to last season where every win or loss was scrutinized a lot.
I think even Lebron and Wade were upset their trashing against the King wasn't get the publicity since nobody cares about the Heat right now. Bulls have a lot better chance than the Thunder of making the Finals though and its not just because of the East being weaker overall. |

I'm watching Dunk Contest highlights on NBATV.
It's hilarious how after the Phoenix ASG in 09 (the one where Nate and D12 go head to head), LeBron says he's putting his name in for the Dallas ASG the next year, then you get to that contest 5 minutes later & the competitors are DeMar DeRozan, Gerald Wallace, Shannon Brown & Nate Robinson. LeBron is a girl. |

Might as well call the West team "Durrant, Westbrook, and Friends" considering how great the Thunder duo is playing.

Pretty good finish..I got home and there was like 7 minutes left and the East was down double digits and they've cut it to 1 with 20 seconds left..

It was funny seeing Kobe annoyed and yelling at Lebron for giving up that last shot instead of shooting it himself.

Of course. Lebron is such a pussy it's unreal. Having said that, very impressive game from him last night. Not too happy about Wade breaking Mamba's nose though and giving him a mild concussion.
