They had a 21 point lead in the 2nd quarter and blew it.
I like how the official theme for the Wizards this year is "big things are coming"..maybe in 5 years or something.. I did forget they drafted Shelvin Mack out of Butler, but with Wall in there he wont see much time. |

I still love the Lakers, but it's hard trying to keep up with them living on the east coast. Trying to find a secondary team to follow. Easiest would be the Sixers, but there isn't really anybody on their roster I particularly enjoy watching.

I thought "Big things are coming" was the slogan for the entire NBA this year?

Yeah but you need to remember that Droford's universe does not extend outside the greater Baltimore/Washington DC area.

Kinda like how the Lakers D doesn't extend past the free throw line AMIRITE?

I smell an MVP in the making this year. Kobe Bryant had 29 points against Sacramento... and he only had to shoot it 28 times!

An animated gif of Uncle Phil throwing Jazz out of his house could be appropriate here if not for two major flaws:
1) Phil Jackson is retired 2) The Lakers are a bunch of penisbutts |

I guess Kris Humphries's haters are his motivators. 21 points and 16 rebounds last night.

On Ricky Rubio:
“I’ve been hearing about him for six years and I saw him for the first time 30 minutes (ago) and it was like he is real,” Thunder coach Scott Brooks said before the game, with only a hint of sarcasm. “Like a folk hero.” |

Impressive season so far here's my take:
best game so far : thunder vs timberwolves 12/26/2011 - debut of rubio and it was just a fast paced back and forth game until the end. Carmelo Anthony Kevin Durant Andris Biedrins giving effort the spin move Joakim Noah pulled on GSW The fact the Lakers lost to the Kings Mavericks puking Celtics looking old......need Pierce but even he may be to slow to keep up with the seasons fast pace. Indiana Pacers need dribbling practice. They won but 1st quarter was pathetic by both teams in their season opener. Dwight Howard wants traded to Nets...shoe endorsements. Clippers are a team to watch for the first time in a long time but they won't go anywhere this year IMO. |

well, the Jazz are terrible. Hmm, Lakers shot 20 more free throws than Utah, which is odd, because that NEVER happens when the Lakers play at home.

Yeah, Gertner, refs were the reason Utah lost that bad, lol. Having said that, I still don't know about this Laker team. WAY better defensively, searching for continuity on offense though... Need Bynum back bad.

The refs were exactly the reason. That and nobody in Utah's starting 5 breaking double digits in points. I know that Favors is young and all, but he shouldn't be starting over Millsap.

Oh, and it'd be nice if Al Jefferson at least pretended to care about playing defense.

I honestly thought by this point Al Jefferson would be battling Howard for the best of the bigs title. Instead he has fallen off the least 3 year. I know he has a bad injury and thats tough, but Kevin Love has surpassed him.

I thought Minne was going to be the shit with Love and Jefferson. Then they trade Jefferson for fuck all.

He's very good offensively, he's just doesn't bother playing defense at all, and on Utah it kills them.

3rd straight game the Celtics trailed by 10+ at the half and the defense gave up too much to start the game. Shooting-wise, it was the first game the offense was bad considering they shot well against the Heat and Knicks.
Loosing Pierce and Jeff Green really hurts the Celtics but besides 2008, Ainge has done more to hurt the team than anything long term until he had no choice for this season. Knowing Ainge, he'll trade away all the youth on the bench for nothing long term like he does every year. |

Horrendous game by the Knicks. Don't even crack 80 points.

Awful. The difference between the first half and second half in that game was like night and day.

Wow the Suns got really bad fast.
Gotta agree with Sammy. This is Miami's year. They are better and deeper than last year. |
