RVD/Lynn was basically spotmonkey shit and I loved it tho, I guess if you have charisma you get a free pass, doesn't interest with Trent Baretta vs Adam Edwards doing it

Felt like I was watching a break dancing show. Turned it off when the guy no-sold a flurry of 20 punches and just kicked the guy in the head. |

I've seen a lot of completely "unnecessary" spots at indy shows.... for no reason in particular I've seen a guy around 6 ft 5 260 lbs give a guy who was also that big a Frankensteiner off the top rope. If that wasn't enough he also did a suicide dive over the top rope to the floor. That may be "noteworthy" for cruiserweights but to see a superheavyweight do those things, it was pretty impressive.

Thats only because most indy guys are 120 pounds wearing pleather pants and kick pads.
You are a legit size. They should let you work your real size and not relative size. |

i like stunts and acrobatics.
kinda funny how, in wrestling, the "artistry" and "psychology" are mainstream and the brainless action is indie. seems to be the exact opposite of every other entertainment medium. |

I must confess that I didn't get through that video that was posted earlier. Too much sizzle without the steak.

Sin Cara (the Mistico one) also used to do a top rope version of that. The SATs used to do a double-team version called The Spanish Fly. I don't mind a move like that every once in a while, but from a kayfabe perspective, the risk is too much to allow your opponent to get in that position too often. |
