New Civil Atrophy song.
http://www.purevolume.com/civilatrophy
I was bored, so I recorded a song called In The Wake Of. I did the vocals once and they sounded like shit, so I did them again with an echo effect and they sounded less shitty. I don't have my bass or keyboard at home, so there's no bass and the keyboards are midi. The drums are midi too. I mic'd my amp directly into the computer and used Cool Edit Pro. I'll probably rerecord it and fix the mistakes when I'm not lazy. |

midi drums -> fruity loops
guitars arent that bad at all, sounds like your singing from the otherside of the room. Just add some vocal reverb if you wanna send the vocals a little bit to the back, but not in the other room. |

I enjoyed that a lot actually. Good work. I mean, it's pretty easy to look past the bad production. A good second recording and it'd come out awesome. \m/

I dunno Cool Edit Pro has a lot of useful features... when I get my new computer I will check out Adobe Audition for myself, but right now I can't even run Cool Edit without my computer taking a dump.

Oh that's pretty hot then. I learned Cool Edit Pro out of a tutorial book I bought, is it basically the same?

The song is awesomeness, but your shitty... well, everything makes it hard to enjoy. Re-record this and become one of the metal gods already.

My dad will be getting a 10 track mini-studio thing soon [hopefully]. When he does, I'll have a drumset in my garage too. I'm hoping he decides to get this shit really soon. When he does, expect a lot of Civil Atrophy songs.
