I only mention Eddie George because on ProFootballReference, Curtis Martin is rated similarly to Eddie George through the first 9 years.
Plus I remember Eddie George a hell of a lot better cause of all the games vs the Ravens. |

Look at the yards again Droford and the fumbles. 4,000+ more all-purpose yards for Curtis Martin. 'Nuff said.

Both were consistently around 1,000 yards a season their entire career. Martin played almost 2 seasons more games than Eddie George did which shows the discrepency in career yards. I can't say anything for the fumbles but its only a couple fumbles more..

The years played is part of the deal. Eddie George couldn't cut it anymore and Curtis Martin had a career year in his final full season.
90 to 68 Rushing touchdowns? See reason for christ's sake. |

Name the Non Hall of Fame RB who had a similar career to these players:
Career Jim Brown*, Tony Dorsett*, Tiki Barber, Roger Craig, Eric Dickerson*, Curtis Martin*, Lenny Moore*, Fred Taylor, Barry Sanders*, John L. Williams *=HOF SPOILER: show surprised he isn't in the HOF..I think of him being a hell of a lot more suited to be in the HOF than martin.. |

I really hope the 3 wideouts make it in soon because in a few years offensive players trying to get into the HOF might be hurt by the NFL's current offensive explosion. The Andre Dawson Effect.

Ray Guy needs to be in. The voters seem to think that punters don't belong in but he was a legitimate game changer. If Guy doesn't go in, no punter ever will.

By stats alone he's a HOF. Of course had you read them you wouldn't have even posted them since they disprove everything you said. He did the 10,000 in 10 years which has only been done by Barry Sanders. Now there are the other things that make up a HOF: being a great teammate and influence on the team/community. |

Kickers of all kinds are shunned by the Hall of Fame. Why in the name of fuck isn't Gino Cappelletti in the Hall of Fame?

I have only ever rooted for the Giants once (SB XLII) and I will never do it again, so slap me on the ass and call me Cream Pie because I'm rooting for the Patriots. It helps that I played high school ball with a guy currently on the Pats roster.

No. I hate all Northeastern and teams west of the Rocky Mountains, but the Giants were half-ass likeable in 07 and the Pats were very unlikeable after Spygate, the "17 points? LAWL" thing, and Randy Moss being a piece of shit. I also can't stand that people will ever consider Eli Manning better than Peyton if he wins this game. Plus, I've grown to like Bill Belichick after watching some of the NFL Films/NFL Network productions (2 part Football Life, NFL Network SoundFX) done on him. Plus, I want a guy I have known since 8th grade to get a Super Bowl ring because that would be pretty friggin' neat.

I don't think Eli is "better" than Peyton but Eli, generally, delivers in big games. I think he is more clutch than Peyton.

Not too happy about the glitch on the Giants website. Pretty obvious they accidentally tested the image in the live environment. But the hats look awesome. Gonna be so sad if I can't pick up one of those bad boys during the week.

Giants talked a bunch more trash than I thought they would in the buildup for this. Kind of acting like sunsabitches. Wouldn't mind Brady getting his revenge but I still will root for New York so I can feel easier about them beating us if they win the big one.

Chris Canty tweeted a score prediction of 28-17 Giants. JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP AND DO YOUR TALKING ON THE FIELD. WHY DO THE GIANTS FEEL THE NEED TO GIVE THE PATS EXTRA BULLETIN BOARD MATERIAL EVERY DAY? GODDDDDDDDDDDD

Goodell and the NFL considering getting rid of the Pro Bowl game if interest drops again and there is no way to improve it to make everyone happy. Even gave a small hint of possibly moving it out of Hawaii since most players seem more interested in the vacation than playing a game.
They already moved it from the week after to now the week before the SB to help generate interest but it hasn't really worked out well. |

Wonder if there's a prop bet on how many roughing the passer calls Brady will get tonight. Considering you can get a flag for doing so much as coughing on him after the ball is released I'd set the over/under at 3. Meanwhile Eli will draw no flags even if he gets pounded after the throw.

LOL. IF you think these are similar, you must think you look like Brad Pitt. Using the "similar" rankings on PFR is stupid enough. Looking at the 4th leading rusher of all time, and comparing him him to someone because they were somewhat close over a period is stupid. They base his stats on his career. I never watched his career and thought "someday this guy will be in the Hall" like most did with Barry Sanders, but when you look at his career its CLEAR he belongs. |
