Bret vs Goldust in MSG on Raw in 97...the conclusion was entertaining as hell, and it capped a great show that was also pretty historic.
2 parter. |

Anywoo, I recall when I was younger, I hated Bob Backlund but loved Bret Hart. I especially hated Backlund's comments about dyslexia since it was recently discovered I had visual dyslexia and I was a little chubby at the time too so I hated the diet comment as well. He was actually right with everything he said. I didn't have the strengh to even go on a diet until almost twelve years after that interview, but that's the thing about bad guy wrestlers...we hate them cause they tell the truth for the most part. I had never heard of Backlund before his comeback to the WWF in 1993. He was before my time and I thought he was too old to be wrestling...which is very ironic since many, many years later as a young man I'd find myself cheering and supporting (both as a mark and a smark) for the older wrestlers I grew up on like Hulk Hogan and booing the younger guys. I guess that's cause in the world of children, I'm an old guy now too. |

And some Waylon Mercy:
Waylon Mercy VP Waylon Mercy vs. Jeff Hardy (RAW-June 1995) Waylon Mercy vs. Savio Vega (Mercy's only PPV - IYH 3) Sucks he got injured. Would have really liked to see him stick around longer. |

Okay, first of all, apparently the Batista Bomba is a wind-up punch.
Secondly, is that a penis? |
