Didn't want to wake up to this news this morning. He was one TV no more than 2 days ago. Like most of us, I'm dreading to know what the cause of death is. Hope it ain't the "S" word.

R.I.P. Warrior. Thanks for the memories and madness.

I don't think most of you guys know what devastated means.

People like this dying bums me out, but if refuse to believe any of you are weeping on the floor unable to go on.

I think the cause of death was voodoo. New Orleans is known for that and Papa Shango was rumored to be around. It's obvious what happened.

What horrible news to wake up to. I was shocked when I found out, just like everyone.

The timing is very strange as has already been said. Just like a few people, I also noticed Warrior holding his chest during WrestleMania and Raw but I just thought it was the emotion of everything getting to him, with him signalling to everyone that we're in his hearts or that he loves us. That kind of thing.

Weirdly enough, during Raw, as Warrior was leaving the ring and walking down the steps, I did for some reason think about what would happen if he or any "old" wrestler collapsed on Raw, just like Lawler did but as the camera was focused on them. I don't know why I thought that but I did and now this news.

It's all very strange.

Such a sad time. It's both sad and nice at the same time as he finally made up with Vince, was alive to be inducted into the Hall of Fame and make an appearance on Raw and leave us all a message that well all most likely remember forever, but sad that all those aforementioned nice things had to end with his sudden passing.

R.I.P Warrior.

Unhappy Woke up, still see the same headlines

Folks, welcome back to TPWW wrestling forums, I am your thread starter Heisenberg. If you haven't heard about the news and you're just joining us, please have a seat and share some of your favorite Warrior moments as we remember him and the awesome memories he left us with.

My embedding and pic powers are limited @ work, I would post my share, but I'll have to wait until I get home.

Please don't poop on the Warrior's shortcomings, obviously we all know what he has done to himself, that was his choice, like any naysayer is perfect anyways.

I just got to know. Very shocked, truly saddening. What a story. What a man. What a legend. The timing is extremely eerie, but for what its worth, it comes when the man has been truly and genuinely appreciated for what he was worth, by his peers and by his fans.

My opinion based on what I saw this weekend and what's been written.

Warrior abused steroids harder than any WWE Superstar we know of. Every single drug test he was called on flunked for some kind of anabolic. Every single one. He even wrote letter's claiming how it wasn't fair that the WBF didn't have to go by the same regulations as the WWE wrestlers.

I think that the weekend was a huge anxiety for him and a life altering cathartic experience that was just to much for his likely enlarged heart. There was clearly something off about him on Raw, I wouldn't be surprised if he even had the heart attack shortly before or after TV that night.

Extremely saddened by this but selfishly grateful he got his chance to come back one last time and find his rightful spot in the WWE Hall of Fame.

I think this is more than the Warrior dying. The timing was extremely odd, and FragileX explained it well, but I also think it hits hard to us who were little jimmy's when the Warrior came seemingly out of nowhere and just destroyed everyone. I asked my Mom and she told me I used to run around the house yelling "I am the Ultimate Warrior" lol.

I was truly shocked this morning, and had to visit several news sites before it truly sank in. While we all talk about Ryan Clark being a bit of a tool, TPWW news is still one of the first news sites I visit in a morning.

Hate and resentment are powerful emotions, and can fuel a man for a long time if he lets it. I'm nowhere near the level of Warrior, or other people I know who have had a difficult life, etc. but about a year ago, I had built up a lot of anger, hatred and bitterness to one person. When I finally confronted the person, and then let go of the hatred, the outpouring of emotion I felt was immense, and then there was a genuine period of emptiness and I didn't know what to do with myself. I felt directionless.

I was so happy to see him back where he belongs, and that everyone appeared to be building bridges. All the resentment and hate that Warrior must have been carrying for a long, long time that he has let go all at once must have left him so emotionally, and potentially physically drained.

I hope he gets a damn fine send off from WWE

Anyway... #RIPUltimateWarrior

Insane timing. Him and Macho Man both getting back into the fold only to suddenly die. Both getting back by cutting promos for video games. At least Warrior got to get in the HOF and cut a sweet promo which will now have extra meaning to it.

I was a huge Ultimate Warrior mark when I was a kid, had his wrestling buddy and the action figure where both the arms move up and down in unison. Still love his batshit crazy promos.

I think what is difficult to digest is the timing of this coming what would appear to be less than 48 hours after making long awaited returns to both Raw and Wrestlemania to hughe fanfare. There was nothing to suggest he was suffering from ill health and it's not like he expected to die so suddenly. It feels so odd to be discussing this and totally unbelievable......he was one of my all time favourites alongside Hogan and even though it was ill fated, I still enjoyed every moment of his WCW stint because for me it was just amazing to see the Ultimate Warrior again.

I'm just pleased he made his peace with McMahon and the WWE and was welcomed back into the fold and was able to address the fans albeit for one final time.

It's almost like a movie all this. Hero to zero then back to hero and then departs this world.

I'm not one for religion but it does make you wonder sometimes when people say "Well, he did everything god intended him to do and then it was his time to go." Times like this seem to put that in perspective.

I'm glad he got to say his piece and make his peace with Vince.

Having difficulty taking this news in. When I was a kid,I was a huge warrior fan. I remember everybody else being a Hogan fan, but I was always a Warrior fan.

The timing of this is bizarre...I'm at a loss of words at the moment. All I can say is I'm happy he was inducted in the HOFFMAN and I got to see him cut a promo before he died.

Before he did that promo work for the game, I remember that Stone Cold ET guy doing his Warrior impression in front of the Ultimate Warrior and seeing the joy on his face. Good times

Dunno, never really saw anything he did aside from the odd coked up promo I've seen on the Internet, so not really affected by this. Reading this thread seems a bit silly to me, don't think any wrestlers death would legitimately affect me anymore than "huh, damn". RIP though obviously.

I can respect that Iggy, and the Fragile X roid talk.

I'm paying respects to a character and man I grew up on and I enjoyed his recent return. I sat through the whole HoF ceremony to see him. I understand he isn't loved across the board, it's all good. Warrior

haven't really been affected by this, which is a bit weird, especially given the outpourings I've seen all day from wrestlers famous and not, from fans, those that used to watch when they were kids, the media etc. Maybe it's just a bit surreal still and it'll "dawn on me", dunno. Or maybe it's not too surprising, he's had that unhealthy, bright red, shiny look that lots of the really big, inflated guys had before they died for a long time now. It's awful, especially for his wife and kids but couldn't be much more romantic from a wrestling fan point of view. Of course he personally would have chosen life over legacy but everything about this past weekend, the last promo, that picture with Vince just cements it. Unreal.

Rest in Peace Ultimate Warrior. You were always my favourite wrestler, a childhood hero, and an inspirational human being outside of the ring / post-wrestling.

We are all so fortunate to have seen you in a WWF ring one final time, although if stress / emotion from this past weekend contributed to your passing, it is all the more tragic.

As was already pointed out, both Macho Man and Ultimate Warrior finally get back into the WWF family, only to die from heart attacks a short time later. Warrior mentioned that he was signed on to be a brand ambassador, it would have been great to see more of him. He had kept himself in great physical looking shape.

Warrior will live on forever in the lives of the 80's to early 90's kids generation (the 30+ year olds at present). Irreplacable, never duplicated, one of the all time special characters.

It's been just an awful day. I woke at 5am thinking that there was something wrong...Ya know..that gut feeling...I instantly looked on my phone and read the news. Never got back to sleep. Instead I shed a quick tear and watched Wrestlemania 12 in it's entirety up to the Iron Man Match to be able to see his final wwe match.....

I'm like 30..first the streak and now this..my childhood heroes are dropping like flies. I feel more mortal than I did yesterday...

I'm still in shock. He was walking around and in the ring on Monday and now dead on Tuesday. Fate can be oh so tragic and cruel I really feel for his wife and young daughters.
