Did you ever get any British Sea Power like I fucking told you in the other thread before? I have been listing to Interpol a lot lately so I agree with that particular suggestion. |

This is a lot of stuff I listen to, that you might want to check out:
Dinosaur Jr. J Mascis and the Fog Pavement Stephan Malkmus and the Jicks Built to Spill Halo Benders Wilco Pixies Frank Black and the Catholics Sonic Youth Modest Mouse Meat Puppets Luna Galaxy 500 Yo La Tengo Eyes Adrift The Flaming Lips Polvo Preston School of Industry Archers of Loaf Grandaddy Some of that is the indie stuff I listen to, I have also been listening to Rilo Kiley and The Arcade Fire. If you want, my cousin has a band and I heavily enjoy them...you might as well, who knows. The link is www.minorbroadcast.net. His band is "Kicks to Hypnotize" and then the singer/guitarist has some solo stuff that is wicked awesome under "Scott Steele". Last edited by carrythezero; 06-24-2005 at 02:04 AM. |

Devil made me.
but seriously, since I don't acknowledge emo any more than I do Nu-Metal as a genre, I can't really call them proto emo. Emo's just a "odds and sods" category for trendy agnst. Type O doesn't really fit in there. Even there darker songs aren't angsty enough for the likes of the pop crowd. |
