They didn't feed him the ball enough.. He had 100 less carries than the year before so his total yards fell off, but he only had one less TD..
Even in 08 when he had 1700 yards he had 17 TD's but he carried the ball close to 150 times more.. |

They pretty much cut a third of his carries so his yards per season went down a third..
Similar TD total and similar yards per carry.. |

3.6 ypc is a pretty big drop off no matter how many touches, plus throw in his huge contract, his age, Jacquizz Rogers and the "he's burnt out/done for" argument from the "experts", Falcons fans etc and that doesn't seem to equate to a guy that anybody should be too worried about releasing

He had 10 TD's.. You realize Adrian Peterson only had 12 right??
And he had 130 more regular season touches.. |

Turner is still a big fucker with even bigger legs, I'm sure he can still pile over the line from a few yards out |

Oh and his cap # for 2013 will probably only be $7 million.

And pointed out that flacco will only be the highest paid player until Aaron Rodgers re-ups his contact, since you know he'll get paid more for his sexier stats even though flacco has 2 more wins, more playoff wins and same number of super bowls. re

And Flacco will probably restructure the contract in a year or two anyway.

Probably by year 5 when he has as many rings as a newly retired tom Brady.

I will say getting rid of Abraham wasn't fucking smart in my opinion only because he was pretty much all the pass rush we had unless they're planning on upgrading with someone younger.
Also, as long as we resign Grimes I'm ok with getting rid of Dunta. |

Don't worry Kris P. we're absolutely terrified of the Saints now that you got your coach back and all. And let's not forget Rob Ryan coming in and taking your defense from the drizzling shits to merely mediocre. You might as well book your ticket to New York now, 'cause the Saints are Super Bowl bound. I wouldn't go that far. He gave it his all when he was in his prime. I'm thankful for him. |

The fact that the Saints 14-6 against ATL in the past decade is what you should be scared of..

And yet we still have more playoff appearances over that same period of time.

Yet. Brees didn't win the big one until year 9. Matt Ryan is in year 5. Takes time for some QBs. The Falcons future for the next decade is a hell of a lot brighter than the Saints. I'll tell you that much.

Most national news outlets sent cameras to coverage Lauren Silberman's tryout at Jets camp. She was injured after two kicks. So much for that.

Breakdown of Flacco's contract:
He has about $30-$51 million as guaranteed money for the first two years while the rest of the guaranteed money is dependent on if he ever gets hurt (fully guaranteed) or not (none guaranteed). Also the cap hit starts to get brutal after Year 3. Best chance for the Ravens to repeat is next year since its just an $6.8 million hit on the cap. http://www.dawgsbynature.com/2013/3/...year-breakdown Last edited by Emperor Smeat; 03-05-2013 at 01:58 PM. |
