Just a wild guess, Pam and Jim get together in last episode. Do like what they are doing with that storyline though, keeping it somewhat different from Dawn/Tim

I still don't know everybody's name.
The one I saw last night was when Jim (i think it's Jim) stepped on the George Foreman grill and thought he was now disabled. hillarious. |

That is Michael Scott you are thinking off, the main boss played by Steve Carell. Jim is the shaggy hair looking guy. Pam is the receptionist, her and Jim have a questionable unspoken thing for each other. Dwight is the big headed guy with glasses who sucks up to Michael the boss. Then there are bunch of other characters like Kevin the bald guy, Phylis who has desk behind Dwight who is a slightly overweight older female. Stanley the black guy, Angela the blond haired accountant. Oscar the Mexican fellow. Toby, not sure how to describe him head of HR there, looks like a sad puppy dog I guess. Creed is a creepy old guy. Then Jan is Michael Scott's boss. Michael Scorn is a fictious character created for a movie by Michael Scott. Roy is Pam former fiancee. Karen is new girl in town. Pretty sure that is most of the people, probably forgot a few. Oooh Bob Vance of Vance Refrigeration, probably the most important character on the show.
But yeah Tim/Dawn I was referrering to are from UK Office. |

not by the look of it, UK office had 2 series with 6 episodes and then the Christmas Special to end off the series. Season 2 of US Office is longer than entire UK run. US Office is going to keep going, I know they actors signed a 6 season contract. I was worried it would run a little to long, but so far they have managed to keep it fresh. It got really good after Season 1.

American Office is funny, but the British version is one of the funniest things in the history of the world.

I honestly like Pam/Toby more than Pam/Jim.
My favorite thing about the original and the remake is that somehow both of them (the original especially) actually make me feel awkward when they do some big David/Michael "ignorance" (for lack of a better word) scene. |

As good as Steve Carell is, the american version is nothing compared to the UK version.

I hold the UK office as a work of fucking comic genius and I could watch it over and over. I love Ricky Gervaise anyway. I tried out the US version but I couldn't get into it at all. I hate the actor who plays the counter-part of Gareth. Think he was George in 6 Feet Under also.

Kano, try starting off with the 2nd season of US version, things pick up more during it. Season 1 is nothing great really, in my opinion. But yeah, UK version is brilliant and love Gervais/Merchant (and Pilkington). They made my Wall of Fame last year, this year it is Bob Saget and Forest Whitaker.

I borrowed my friend's DVD of his stand-up Politics again, and it is in my opinion the extras, 'Meet Karl Pilkington' and the 'on the road with Ricky' thing is prob as funny, if not more, than the actual stand-up.
And then the commentry with Ricky and his warm-up act Robin Ince is pure LMFAO, they talk about anything but the act, and Ricky recites a diary he kept of Robin lol. I will try second season in due time. First ep better be good or I won't bother. |

I vowed never to watched US Office cause of my love for UK Office and after seeing first episode(which was remake of first episode UK office) I hated it. Never watched that episode again, but after that things pick off. Once the characters become there own, and not just based on others it is enjoyable. Easily one of my favorite shows on tv now.
But back to the Gervais crew. You ever listen to his Podcasts or old XFM shows? Got them like all on my ipod, usually listen to em when trying to fall asleep. I can't walk around listening to them though cause Karl will begin to talk and I'll just get a ridiculous look on my face trying not to laugh out loud in public area like that. I love all 3 of them though, sadly can relate to Karl and the way he thinks though. Plus we have the same favorite film of all time, Elephant Man. |

If you click on the XFM link, then which series for radio show, you can get the download link. The podcasts you are supposed to pay for these days, so you'd probably have to torrent them. If you like Meet Karl Pilkington, you'll love the radio show cause it is basically Pilkington discussing his theories while merchant/gervais call him an idiot. |

He didn't get the job at corporate. I think Karen got it which of course opens a whole realm of possibilities in the Jim/Pam/Karen love triangle. Ooooh it's so juicy.

I've seen every episode of the US version.. I own season 1 and 2 on DVD..
My bro let me borrow "series" 1 and 2 of the UK version.. I've watched like the firest 3 episodes.. It's good but I don't like it as much I guess because I don't get some of it.. It seems some of the Brittish humor is lost on my American mind.. Creed said something last night that made me ROTFLMFAO.. Great show reguardless.. |
