Dumb & Dumber:
Jim Carrey takes out his cap for his chipped tooth for the movie. Cam Neely who played Sea Bass in Dumb & Dumber also played Lieutenant Sea Bass in _Me Myself & Irene (2000)_ which also starred Jim Carrey. Jim Carrey refused to shoot an alternate ending of Harry and Lloyd getting on the bus with the Tropicana girls. The "most annoying sound in the world" was ad-libbed by Jim Carrey during filming. |

The Shark in Jaws was suppossed to eat all the three main characters at the end and then be killed by some passing dolphins
In the Goonies, Sloth was suppossed to turn bad at the end and steal all the diamonds the kids had and that would lead to the destruction of their homes. In Wizard of Oz, the Tinman was originally suppossed to take his ax to one of the evil monkeys and cut it's head off. They scrapped this because they thought it was to scary. The movie Ghostbusters was originally suppossed to have a fifth ghostbuster, but while filming the scene where they are shooting at Slimer in that dinner room in the hotel, one of the chandelier's fell and broke his back. The Fifth Ghostbuster's name was Fernando. In the movie Rudy, in the scene in which he makes the tackle at the end. Originally, he was suppossed to tackle the entire oppossing team all in one play, but the directors soon scrapped the idea after they thought it was a little unrealistic. |

Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit was going to be revealed as the one who shot Bambi's mother, but they scrapped it. Thought that would be pretty funny myself. I can picture Christopher Lloyd gloating about it perfectly.

They originally planned that Mel Gibsons Character in Lethal Weopon 4 was to be killed and that got leeked out on the net. Then at the last minute they changed it to him living allowing room for another movie to be made if fans wanted it.

Eric Stoltz was the original Marty McFly, and they even shot some scenes with him. But Michael J. Fox (their first choice) was able to free up and work around his Family Ties schedule, and so...well, they fired Stoltz and hired Fox. The rest is history.

Robin Williams was offered 2 roles in Batman movies (as Joker in Batman, and Riddler in Batman Forever) but ended up getting neither role.

In the movie Predator, when they show the alien swinging through the trees that's actually Jean Claude Van Damme. It was his first film role.
There's a naked woman hidden in Disney's "The Rescuers", whenever the company found out about it they recalled the video. There's still lots of unedited copies floating around in pawnshops & places like that tho. Quentin Tarantino originally wrote the character of Vic Vega (Mr. Blonde) from "Reservoir Dogs" into "Pulp Fiction". Michael Madsen wasn't available for the part, so he turned the character into Vincent Vega, Vic's brother played by John Travolta. |

In "The Crow," during the murder scene of Brandon Lee and his wife, Brandon Lee was actually shot and killed. The gun was supposed to be filled with blanks, but was somehow replaced with real bullets. The directors questioned whether they should release the movie or not, and decided to green light it because they believed that was what Brandon would have wanted.
For those of you who don't know, Brandon Lee was the son of martial arts legend Bruce Lee. |
