A new song by me.
I'm trying to get serious about releasing a CD and I have finished the first track. It has a few mistakes but don't have the time to re-record it..
Anyway, here it is, check it out and let me know what you think. http://www.sparkvolt.com/td/tragedy.mp3 |

I like the guitar riff at the beginning and near the end.

Sounds pretty cool. With the stop and go riff, I think it'd be pretty cool to have a bassline that keeps going when the guitar stops. Just a thought.

You guys remember that short jam session I recorded with my friend that I posted? It sucked hardcore, but we actually made it a real song and recorded it a while ago. I finally uploaded it.
http://www.sparkvolt.com/td/newsong.mp3 Thanks for the comments also guys. |

newsong.mp3 sounds pretty heavy - it just needs better recording quality. I'm playing along with it just doing some random soloing.

THIS IS NOT A PHOTOGRAPH!
Sorry, I hear some MoB influence in there. That's not a bad thing or anything. |

Actually, I kinda like the mega-dirty quality here.

Freg, I can actually sing but every time I have tried it it just came out horribly. I recorded the Tragedy song with some new hookup though, so maybe it will sound better now. I will give it a shot soon.
Yeah, the newsong one I'm proud of, I just need to re-record it because it was my old equipment and it sounded like crap. Glad you guys liked it. Oh yeah, that's weird about the MoB influence since I have never heard them |

Soundbyte from onOFFon.....
The first new recordings in 22 years from avant-rock titans Mission Of Burma. A work of staggering complexity, brimming with all the raw power of their 80's releases, while revealing tones, textures, and lyrical themes unimaginable the first time around. One of the most forward-thinking American bands, Burma have been covered by REM, Moby, Blur, and others, and helped shape the sounds of hardcore, indie rock, and emo. They're part of the Velvet Underground, MC5, Television, and Joy Division pantheon. Available in CD, hybrid SACD, and true all-analog 180-gram double vinyl. |

Cool. I listen to all those genres, so that makes sense.
