I feel I've missed out on the broken 2k15 physics seen loads of pics/vids but when I've played I've never really seen an issue crop up. Then again I never play it for very long because I get bored.

When I'm EXTREMELY bored I'll fish out my 360 copy and play the NXT Proving Ground thing where you take 1 of the 5 or 6 NXT guys against Cena and try to beat him as fast as possible.

Seems quite sad that I find that more entertaining than both Showcases and Universe Mode combined.

Not really...I've defeated him with Bo Dallas in 10:11...was actually surprised I took him down that quick.

UPDATE: LMAO, YAAAAASSSSSS! Beat him with Neville in 8:40...but only got a "B+" final grade. I still have yet to attempt beating him with Graves.

UPDATE #2: Just beat him with Zayn in 7:30. WOOO!

Of that group, only 14 weren't in last year. It seems pretty clear by now that anybody from 2k15 who is still on good terms with WWE is being ported over. That's part of the reason they were able to make the roster so big.

We can safely rule out Hogan, Punk, Del Rio, Mysterio, and Gabriel. AJ Lee is still a possibility as she wrestled at WM 31 and didn't really leave WWE on bad terms, but given that she's Mrs. Punk I'll leave her out. That leaves the following yet to be announced from last year's game:

If they're all in, that brings the roster to 96 and includes the entire active male roster as of WM except for Los Matadores. I can't really think of a good reason why they'd be the only current guys left out when even Slater and Ryder made it in, so let's figure they're in to bump it to 98.

We're probably not through with NXT inclusions. Charlotte, Corbin, and Enzo/Cass have their shirts spotted in the NXT crowd. Sasha supposedly confirmed she was scanned for the game.

I've seen people speculate that 2k were using February's NXT Takeover Rival as their basis for who to put in the game. I don't know if it's true, but so far all of the NXT reveals have matched up with people who were on that show and it's a fun thought, so screw it...let's put them all in:

And that brings the roster up to 108. The remaining spots to get to 120 unique characters would be for Austin's Showcase mode. Vince, Bret, LOD, Pillman, and probably at least 2 Foley personas would be in to go along with Austin, Roberts, and different alts for guys like Rock, Taker, HBK, HHH, Kane, etc. No idea who else they'll put into that mode since it's not clear how in-depth it will be.

Can't rule out some of those extra NXT inclusions actually being DLC to make way for more Austin Showcase characters. Still think Samoa Joe will be the headliner for a NXT-focused DLC pack. We'll see.

He might be DLC, I'd have to guess...he did only very recently sign with the company. I also wouldn't be adverse to seeing Rhyno as a DLC guy.

I find it odd that Rowan's mask is more detailed than Harpers head, it looks too smooth.

Having Rhyno would be pretty awesome. If they've managed to get updated Taker etc then having Joe in the main roster is a possibility, but doubtful.

Yeah Joe just screams DLC to me. Perfect guy to center a pack around. Hopefully they don't make him the "Season Pass Exclusive" or some shit like Paige last year.

Would love The Brian Kendrick being DLC too given he's back with the company, even though he wound up only appearing on NXT for a brief time.

Consider yourself fortunate. mehhhhhh @ Austin mode only covering WWF, even though I expected it. And apparently that match vs. Jake at KOTR 96 really is the first match in the mode, so no Savio Vega either.

Would be more excited about the mode if it led to Owen Hart and/or Kurt Angle being in the game. Martha is allowing WWE to do a Owen documentary and Angle could have had a separate deal with 2k much like Hogan did when with TNA. Feel like either man would have been announced way earlier, though.

It's disappointing but showcase mode's quality was never a determining factor for me. I play that kind of stuff once, and then move on to stuff like universe and career.

Other new stuff they've shown so far has me cautiously optimistic. Need info soon on universe though. Worried they just dumped it back in as is, like 2k15.

Feel like if they actually did something with Universe mode, they would have been touting it by now. Probably just going to get roster info (OMG GUYZ LOOK EL TORITO IZ IN!!) and a few gameplay vids (IMPROVED PSYCHICS AND MORE BALANCED GAMEPLAY!!!) and thats it until release. Universe mode will be a footnote. At least we can give a created wrestle 2 hair colors

The one saving grace of Universe Mode in 2K15 is the ability to unlock new story elements in the story collection menu via playing "Rivalry Matches". Once unlocked, you can assign those stories to applicable rivalries.
