I loved this film. I felt that Joss Whedon did an incredible job with what was given to him. This film is just so fun to watch and IMO its the best film Marvel has ever put out to date

Not gonna lie I though The Red Skull was going to be in the after credits scene
So this is some stupid fanboy thing that actually doesn't matter, but... Iron Man 2 takes place 6 months after Iron Man. Thor takes place during and directly after Iron Man 2. I'm not sure about Captain America, but I would think it takes place sometime after Thor. Now I question The Incredible Hulk. I have heard that it takes place during Iron Man 2. Now that would explain the after credits scene in the Incredible Hulk since it seemed like they were talking about the Avengers. I don't buy that though, I think it takes place after Iron Man. Since Fury was in the end of Iron Man. In the Avengers though Bruce Banner says he went to Harlem a year ago. So in short the Avengers does not take place in 2012, but instead takes place in 2010. |

Incredible Hulk takes place after Iron Man 2, where Stark was made "The Consultant".

You know what would be streets ahead? If they did a series of "shorts" that would air before the new Thor/Cap/Iron Man movies.
Could focus on Hawkeye/Black Widow and explore their origins and stories and whatever. Three shorts, all continuing the story from the last. |

Cap 2: Winter Soldier. Explain Bucky's longevity along with Nick Fury's, who alluded to the Infinity Serum in IM2. More badassery from Widow and Hawkeye. Since Cap's with SHIELD now, he needs to dress the part some of the time - use the black bearing Bucky-Cap suit for a few scenes. May be some world hopping; good time to visit Wakanda and meet a certain prince...
Thor 2: The Enchantress and Hella would be cool. Visit some other worlds. Selvic really should head to Asgard. Iron Man 3: Seems like a given that some version of The Manderin will be the villain. More War Machine action. Rescue perhaps? Too soon? Avengers 2: War of the Fucking Gems. |

Selvic in asgard would be great.
Wonder if they'll do "demon in a bottle" for IM 3. |

I think that scene in IM2 said everything needed to be said about Demon in a Bottle. Tony got wasted, Rhody took initiative. A simplification, yeah, but that's what I think it is.

Pretty amazing flick. All of my thoughts have mostly been said so I won't regurgitate.
I saw it in BEAUTIFUL IMAX 3D and I feel the 3D was done really well. Maybe my 2nd favorite film as far 3D movies go. I can imagine the shots in 2D look just as great also. Hell, 3D wasn't even a big selling point for me, I just wanted to see it on a big ass IMAX screen. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Thor's entrance was a little cheap, all things considered. I also had to explain Black Widows "powers" to some people but if you think about it, if you went into this movie without any knowledge of what she does, it's becomes kind of difficult to put a finger on it as the movie doesn't do a great job at portraying it. I was also worried that there wasn't going to be a Stan Lee cameo as they were getting real close to the end. But uhhh.... I don't think I have any real complaints. |

As a matter of fact, I would say seeing it in 3D (well, "IMAX 3D" at least) actually adds to it. I know mostly everyone isn't on board the 3D bandwagon but I really enjoyed it.

This was by far my favorite movie ever. Not sure what I can say that hasnt been said before.
Looks like some of the same peeps will be working on Deadpool. which is going to be amazing. Ruffalo was so good as the Hulk. The first actor to give Banner than "Im a fucking lunatic holding back a beast" vibe. When He started getting mad and slammed the table early on, and then Widow is scared out of her mind was awesome. 300 agents outside the shanty awaiting the Hulk. really showed the threat he is. |

I took my boys to see this last night and we had an awesome time. The movie was a bit too long in some spots but then ending completely made up for it.

Saw it again, in 3-D this time.
If there was ever a movie that could make a case for 3D, this is it. Money well spent. Instinctively flinched a couple times, cause I thought I would get an arrow in the face. Tom Hiddleston nailed it, this time around. In Thor, he was more anguished. Like a spoiled emo child. In this one Hiddleston didn't play Loki. He WAS Loki. He was a lot more sinister in this, with a wry sense of humor on the side, as Loki should be. Hope this wasn't just Whedon's direction with the character, and he gives the same performance in Thor 2. Missed "Clench up, Legolas." the first time around. Hilarious. |

I wasn't gay for this movie as 90% of the population (or 97% of the posters on here), but I was greatly entertained nonetheless.
I won't say that this will rank amongst my favorite movies of all-time, but I definitely enjoyed it........and wouldn't mind seeing it again. |

I actually want to see it again. I thought it was that good.
Complaint: The action scenes were very pleasing to the eye, but, to me, it was Hollywood, once again, showing off how much money that they have. I know it looks cool, but is a plane steaming on fire, crashing into a building, causing the building to collapse, falling into the ground leaving the ground breaking and throwing rubble everywhere REALLY that necessary? Other than that, the action scenes were pretty damn cool. I'm just bitching because I can. I want to give Scarlett Johansson a round of applause. I personally think she stole the show. Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo also get applauded. The other cast was great, no doubt, but those three mentioned I thought just did a great job and I under estimated them in their roles. |

Honestly, they were just being true to the source material. Manhattan gets obliterated on a weekly basis in the Avengers comics. Would you have preferred an intense game of chess between Loki and Thor instead? Avengers had to eclipse the movies that set it up. It had to be big. It had to be epic. And lots of stuff had to break. |

Maybe a debate session between the hulk and the chitauri, instead of a cataclysmic encounter in the skies of New York.

Just saw it tonight. It was great. My favorite part was Hulk smashing Loki onto the floor several times.
