I wonder if Zimmer will find it odd to write a new theme for Batman, having already written the music for the Dark Knight trilogy. And what effect that will have on the new Batman theme.

He'll go out of his way to make it sound different, but a lot of his stuff has the 'Zimmer DNA' that all eventually sounds like Batman. So it may be hard to avoid. However, his Man of Steel work showed off some range.

With the photos coming out and everything, I, as a huge Batman and Superman fan, should be totally stoked about this movie.

Well Aquaman is always portrayed as Caucasian but every iteration of Aquaman seems to look the same and is bland so a dark-skinned Aquaman would add some character to the...character.

I never saw Momoa as especially dark skinned. Tanned at best.

Voices have said Diana's costume will be traditional; red top, golden tiara, silver gauntlets, with oft depicted skirt instead of a bikini bottom. Her lasso (absent lie detector magic), sword, and shield will be her toys.

Grain of salt and all that.

Also, it seems we may have something to see come SDCC.

Doesn't really make sense for Aquaman to be a tan-skinned person considering the fact that he spends most of his time at the bottom of the ocean.

I'm in the minority of actually supporting Affleck as Batman. The Cyborg casting was done well also, IMO. But Aquaman and Wonder Woman, and even Alfred a little bit, have been some head scratchers.

I'm down with Diana and I don't care who plays Alfred - people should stop pretending to.

The Aquaman thing is whatever. Never read a page of his comics and he's the biggest butt-joke of DC (despite getting kick-ass cred the last ten years). If I had to guess, I'd say they're going for Caribbean warrior king whatever.

The Eisneberg casting was...odd. But he's shown to be a good actor, and, if given good material, I think he will be ok. Irons as Alfred could be good too. It's just a weird casting considering his style.

I still don't understand the Gadot casting. Scrawny, shapeless model with little experience being cast as an Amazon. She just doesn't have the look. Maybe she will be good. Maybe not. I just don't like her look for WW.

In other news, I have read some rumors on an official Batman reboot, titled "The Batman", for 2019. Rumor of course, but that's a mile away from all the current hoopla of the DC universe expansion stuff.

I'm not sold on the WW casting yet but I love the choice for Aqua man and I still feel this movie is a bit loaded but I'm starting to see how this could shape up. I never thought I'd say this but I hope Superman is more like.....well Superman this time around.
