2002 was a great fucking year for PPVs.
Royal Rumble 03 was good too. I love the set they had at RR03 where one of the titantrons was made of water. |

I love watching random old RAW replays. Bret vs. Bam Bam, oh shit, Stu and Helen are in the balcony, Lawler goes up and berates them on a live mic while Bret's wrestling.

I'm watching the disastrous WCW Fall Brawl 1998.
this show was the drizzling shits from what I can recall. Is it any wonder why WCW went down the tubes with shitty ppv's like this? Davey Smith & Jim Neidhart beat Disco Inferno & Alex Wright (11:03) when Smith pinned Disco. WCW TV Champ Chris Jericho beat "Fake Goldberg" (1:15) via submission. Ernest Miller pinned Norman Smiley (5:04). Rick Steiner NC Scott Steiner (5:30). WCW Cruiserweight Champ Juventud Guerrera pinned Silver King (8:36). Perry Saturn pinned Raven (14:04). Dean Malenko beat Curt Hennig (7:38) via DQ. Konnan beat Scott Hall (12:03) via submission. Diamond Dallas Page pinned Stevie Ray (20:06) to win "wargames." Also in the match were: Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, Lex Luger, Kevin Nash, Roddy Piper, Sting, and Ultimate Warrior. |

Holy crap. WrestleWar 1991. Totally forgot WCW had a 6-man Tag Team Belt. JYD/ Ricky Morton/ Tommy Rich held them going into this. Wow.

Lol they just did a segment with Bill Mercer and Kevin Von Erich shooting ducks in a duck blind. Nice collection of dead ducks at the end.

Just started Starrcade '85. First match is Sam Houston vs. Krusher Khruschev. Crowd is dead and the match kinda sucks.
But my biggest issue so far is replacing Gordon Solie with Tony Schiavone. Apparently he didn't just get worse by the time he commentated Nitro, he's just always sucked. Jesus, there's a lot of dead air during this match. Any reason why Solie wasn't used here? Is it Schiavone from here on out? Only the first match is over and the entire event feels dead compared to Starrcade 83/84. Last edited by Boondock Saint; 04-03-2014 at 04:01 PM. |

Watched SummerSlam 02. Such a great card and HHH/Michaels is amazing every time I watch it.
Watching WM15 right now. Mr. Ass vs Al Snow vs Bob Holly opened the show for the Hardcore Title. Meh. |

Live Wrestlemania Roundtable Flair was being cocky obnoxious Flair till they brought up his retirement match and he's getting really emotional talking about his son being there now that he's gone how tough it is. Realest Flair I've seen on these Roundtables.

Just pulled WWE Network back up and they are airing WM26. I still can't believe Jericho beat Edge. WM26 seems like it will be like WM19 and be very good, but forgotten about in the grand scheme of Mania history outside of HBK's retirement, but that is overshadowed by their WM25 match and HBK popping up at 28 and 29.

WrestleMania Today on Friday has this video package on Daniel Bryan's career set to "Monster" by Imagine Dragons. The production people who make these don't get paid enough.

Like I said in other thread mine was a little jumpy last night on my XBOX 360 just through a Wireless connection but since putting a hard connection into it, it's been flawless. HOF tonight will tell a lot I think. If it can't handle that traffic, Mania will be a train wreck tomorrow.
WWE.com Stream of Network working ok right now too for me. |

HOF was somewhat glitchy/laggy on 360. Contemplating ordering the PPV on TV instead to be safe but ugggghhh. Not watching it on an Ipad, that's for sure
