Cauliflower Ear. Almost all serious amateur wrestlers get it.
Pretty much your ear just gets ****ed up from having it rubbing against people really hard all the time, which causes a buildup of fluids in the ear that has to be drained. In some wrestlers their ear is more visably messed up such as in Lesner's case, but Angle has it too and is partially deaf in one ear because of it. Last edited by Head; 12-19-2003 at 11:17 PM. |

In high school wrestling the headgear is mandatory now, but when I moved up to wrestling in college it became optional. Most people thought that was cool and they ditched their headgear right away. I always laughed and thought they were crazy for doing so, cauliflower ear sucks.

And the headgear doesn't protect completly against it either. Take a stiff crossface from a really jacked mother ****er and it will **** your ear up no matter what. |
