Chances of a women's Hell in a Cell next month?
When I heard about Sasha Banks' injury around SummerSlam time, my dreams of this were a little dashed, but the series between Charlotte and Sasha Banks made me somewhat hopeful for The Queen to get her hands on The Boss inside The WWE's Most Dangerous Structure(TM) at Hell in a Cell. But Sasha appears to be back and Charlotte's top contender.
RAW's title scene seems quite congested. You've got Charlotte at the top with Sasha and Bayley as immediate challengers, but Dana and Nia are bubbling beneath the surface. Paige is also going back on the road with the WWE and Emma has been cleared to return, because she's basically Wonder Woman. Do you think we're just going to get wheel spinning from the division, which is already throwing the Charlotte/Sasha/Bayley Triple Threat out there (I thought for sure they could have run that at WrestleMania next year). Personally, I go with Charlotte vs. Sasha inside the Cell. I think it's the sort of environment where these women can work. Earlier in the show, you can do Nia Jax vs. Bayley and possibly Paige vs. Emma on the Kickoff or something. |

I really want the ladies to see what Lucha did with the woman's I quit match and top it but I think he risk is too great for something serious to happen

Hell in a Cell is stretching it a bit. Maybe a I quit match, cage math, ladder match, or last woman standing match. Women's Hell in a Cell match just to have one is not what they need. Hell in Cell is supposed to be a match that ends bitter feuds and with the lack of depth in the women's divisions I just don't see why they put them in the Cell. They can have just as good maybe even better match in a cage or any other gimmick match.

What you said is exactly why I think they SHOULD be in the Cell. Charlotte and Sasha's story goes back to 2013. Would the WWE dip right back to the BFFs in order to lay the foundations to a Cell? Probably not -- but it's there. They are career rivals at this point. A Ladder Match between two ladies is something I've wanted to see a for a long time, but I can imagine Vince is not too keen on Sasha bumping off the ladder constantly.
The women are great at planning their matches ahead of time, and Sasha's NXT matches displayed some of the best psychology of the year. I think they'd knock a Cell out of the park. |

Their feud is worthy of a Cell match sure but with only 6 or 7 women on a roster(only 3or 4 actual contenders) they would just be feuding again before in a couple of months. Let them get regular gimmick matches for a bit and a Hell in the Cell match could come down the line.

The depth of the divisions is a real problem. It doesn't help when you literally throw every girl in your division into a match so all but one of them lose.

Wouldn't be surprised if the WWE did one but none of RAW's women feuds going on now have that feel where its reached the point where the Cell is needed.
Even though Sasha vs Charlotte has been the biggest women's feud for the WWE in a while, its still lacking that real hatred or animosity between the two for the Cell to be the definitive feud ender and not just something forced/rushed because of the ppvs gimmick. |

Yeah, I'm not a fan of forcing the hell in a cell gimmick. I didn't even think Lesnar and Taker warranted it last year and I definitely don't think Sasha and Charlotte does. If they do a divas HIAC match it needs to have a good, intense, memorable build and they don't have that. I feel like it would just do a disservice to the entire division.

Having the gimmick PPV itself is a bad idea. I'm in complete agreement there, but I honestly can't think of a feud in WWE that warrants the Cell more. I mean, they have three years of active history. I honestly can't agree that they don't have the build.

This might be blasphemy, but HBK vs. Taker only had two months direct build. HBK hit Taker with the chair at SummerSlam '97. I know that feud was more intense and we're talking about HBK and Taker here, but it wasn't exactly a long and arduous build.
