And again, SmackDown was the better show.
• Even though SmackDown opened with a promo like Raw did, the opening promo on SmackDown felt like it had a point, a purpose and it gave more focus to the Women's Division and most importantly, Becky and Alexa. Speaking of which, I still think Becky should never talk as her voice just grates on me something awful. The segment was also a nice way to give Alexa some mic time as I feel she's still learning. The ending was good though with Alexa smacking Becky in the face with the contract and then tipping the table on her legs, but it sucks that Becky didn't really sell the table landing on her legs, as right after it happened she ran after Alexa. She could have at least hobbled or shook the pain off, then ran. I dunno. • I was surprised to see Gable back though as I was expecting him to be gone until No Mercy. Still though, American Alpha/Usos was a good tag match and I like the Usos' new gear. I feel that The Usos' will win the titles at No Mercy and then hold them for a while before dropping them to American Alpha. Probably at Survivor Series. • Before this match, I was curious as to why Swagger is now on SmackDown, but now I'm pretty sure he was only brought over to SmackDown to job to Corbin and make him look good, which really really sucks. • Even though I find the vignettes strangely entertaining and weird, I'm still wondering when Curt Hawkins will actually debut. I really want to see him in action and also find out more about him, such as is he a face or is he a heel? I really don't know, but being honest, I really don't care as I am a fan of Hawkins regardless. Although, seeing him as a face would be interesting, as I really don't think he's had a run as a face before. I could be wrong though. And I'm not counting during his time as one half of The Major Bros. • Once again, Ziggler/Miz have another great match. Now, if Ziggler gets another shot at No Mercy in a special stipulation match so that he doesn't get screwed again, I can see him either going crazy if he loses or winning the Intercontinental Championship. It's just so good to see the Intercontinental Championship be involved in a rivalry like this, with good matches and a champion trying everything to retain and a challenger not giving up on capturing the title. Usually, after a loss or two, the challenger would move on to someone else. This just gives the championship so much importance. It shows that it's a desired championship and that it actually means something. • Orton/Rowan. Cool. It's one way to continue on the Orton/Wyatt feud, I guess. Being honest and I'm not really that into Orton or Wyatt these days. • Women's tag match was short and sweet but it worked. It continues the Carmella/Bella rivalry and maybe even starts a new one with Natalya and Naomi, which I'm sure would produce some good matches. Also, it showcases the women more. • I was genuinely surprised at the end of the main event. Cena losing clean via a roll-up. Insane. But it works and I still think that the following weeks up until No Mercy are going to be so good with Cena, Ambrose and Styles. I think this is probably the most interested I've been in the WWE Championship scene for a while. Unlike Raw, I'm genuinely looking forward to watching again next week. |

Smackdown ended up doing worse this week when both compared to RAW and last week's show.

Just wanted to say that WM XXVIII-esque reaction that Cena had after losing to Dean last night was tremendous.

Jordan refusing to tag in Gable was great storytelling. Love it.

Bryan demanding to #ReleaseTheBear which is a documentary on the build up to a Wrestlemania 32 match that never happened was hilarious, but I hope they do release it.
