I enjoyed this episode.
Love how the save baby Melody theme seems to be an afterthought in these last few episodes. This season just seems really disjointed to me. |

No, because I don't have cable. We've been through this dance before, Fan Gerl.

Well no one is going to give you an answer with that kind of attitude and name calling... Kate Knight.

The God Complex was a rather good episode I but I can't help but wonder as to why they didn't show what it was behind the Doctor's hotel room door and I find Amy is starting to really grow on me as of late she may surpass Martha as my favorite companion afterall.

Fan Gerl's just being a tard. He knows both that I don't have cable and that Comcast is particularly vicious about throttling in my area. Or, if he's been paying attention at all in the last year, and repeated tellings of both.... |

What a let down of a cybermen episode.

It was a bit naff, except for the last 2 mins.
Hopefully they will redeem themselves with the season finale. |

Disappointing. Too much Doctor/Craig, not enough Cybermen threat, they've really gotten the shaft under Moff.
Looking forward to the return to Lake Silencio next week though, even though it's THE END. |

Too much baby crying stuff/focus on the baby for my liking when it should've been more about the cybermen. Really pointless.

It wasn't meant to be a Cybermen episode anyway, it was a Doctor and Craig episode. I found it quite enjoyable for what it was.

Just cause that's what it was "meant to be" doesn't mean its entertaining. And if that's the case don't go hyping up the cybermen so much.

I actually liked the episode. It was good light humor stuff that still played up the Doctor's pending "demise" with some good revelations in the end. First episode with a kid that was actually tolerable for me.
"He personally prefers to be called Stormageddon, Dark Lord of All... I speak baby." "No, he's your dad you can't just call him Not Mom." "Not Mom!?" "Also Not Mom, that's me... and everybody is... peasants... Well that's just a little bit unfortunate." HILARIOUS! Still, I have to say that Moffatt may have blown his load a bit early. Most of the climactic events and revelations seem like they took place in the first six shows while this second half has been mostly filler with little 2 minute tidbits here and there. Even the baddies like the Weeping Angels and Cybermen were poorly used. What happened to finding baby Melody? |

Thought the last episode was good but it felt like they were trying to do a character development episode with a higher budget than usual and i'd like to add that there was no mention that The Doctor's death was a fixed point in time I'm just sayin.

I'd say 4/10 maybe lower. Like to save 7's or higher for actually good episodes, you see.

Lol, I didn't find it that bad. The Doctor talking to the baby was entertaining.

Well, Matt Smith is contracted for another season so he won't die.

I feel like the finale is either going to be so clever that people rate it a 9 or 10 or a dud. I think Moffatt put himself in a corner where there can really be no in between for this one.
Completely off topic but, Idris Elba as the Master for an episode or two would be eipic. |

So if he doesn't get out of it somehow (lol) It's not just the end of Matt Smith, but The Doctor himself. |

I'm gonna be at New Filbo , having to tape it. At least I can watch it in HD since my satellite card can only seem to record BBC One HD without complaint, not show the channel live.

A bit gutted that the Beeb are having to cut Confidential from BBC Three's budget. I loved watching Matt and co piss around for the camera.

God, what aren't BBC cutting? Shame shit like the Antiques Roadshow or Bargain Hunt still find a place on it.

Unfortunately, I haven't enjoyed the trip on this one. I've loved the individual stops, but the overall arc seems lame compared to series five. And 1-4. It beats the specials, though. This is subject to change, since I haven't seen the whole arc, but this season seems better as a loose collection of episodes than an arc. I partially blame BBC for that. It's ironic, because it's more obviously an arc, too. |

They have referenced him before. While he didn't appear onscreen in Nu Who, I'm betting a good chunk of people know who he is, simply because of that and Wikipedia.

Also forgetting there was that appearance in the Sarah Jane Adventures. |
