That post of mine really upsets me. I remember leading into the 2004 Draft the Bills wanted a QB but were drafted 13th. I wanted Rivers or Big Ben so bad. Rivers stock rose LATE and all of a sudden he went 4th. The Bills knew they had to move up from 13 for ben and didnt. He goes to Pitt and they win 2 bowls. Bills end up trading back into the 1st for Losman. WOW.
They paid more to move up for Losman than it would have cost to move up for Biug Ben. I want to cry when I think of their draft days misses. Whitner Over Ngata... Maybin over Orakpo McKelvin over Clady. the list goes on and on. Those were all major picks the NFL community thought was a possibility and the Fans were calling for. Imagine had they been at all compentent. Add Clady, Ngata, Big Ben and Orakpo to the bills...My god. Granted things would have changed and those picks would have changed, but damn, just shows you how bad the Bills Front office was during the Marv Levy/Dick Jauron years. Killed any hope of the Bills ever being a legit contender again. |

Oh man Whitner. I still remember that. He was projected as a mid to late 1st rounder. But they couldn't wait.

I don't blame the Bills for Losman. He came out of Tulane. All we do is send top stars to the NFL. MATT FORTE, Shaun King, patrick ramsey, etc...

Yeah. Michael Huff was the top pick, so I guess the Bills just really needed that safety. Fucking Jauron and the cover 2. He passed on Ngata because he DIDNT FIT. Same with Orakpo

I shudder to think what happens if Tannehill goes #3, it'll be like 1999 with Couch/McNabb/A. Smith. Teams panic "OMG the QBs are all gone" and go rush to a QB that under normal circumstances wouldn't be touched before the 3rd round where expectations wouldn't be so high. Tannehill WILL DEFINITELY be a bust if hes drafted top 5. I have less doubt about that then saying that RG3 will be a huge bust. The good news is he's not projected to go top 5, but I could see someone panic at the last minute.. |

Droford told me in secret that he doesn't like RGII because he is black.

Don't think the Vikings would take Tannehill considering they drafted Ponder last year and Tannehill doesn't seem that much of an improvement over Ponder. They have a lot more areas to fix to potentially waste a pick on another QB.
Cleveland at #4 is teasing they might take Bama's RB as their first pick and both the Bucs and Rams haven't made any mentions of a possibility of a QB being their first pick. Vikings teased they are more likely to pick an OT, CB, or WR for their first pick but Tannehill probably won't be a Top 10 pick or at least not a Top 5. |

Nah but on a more serious note it's the times like these that I'm glad my team is riding high right now. I'd hate to be even discussing potential #1 picks. |

Yeup ESPN is saying the Browns panicked thinking Tampa wanted Richardson (Bama RB) even though it probably wouldn't be the case while Minnesota knew the players they wanted would still be available a few picks down and they get to save some cash even though rookie pay scales are a lot lower than 2 years ago.
Tampa wants Blackmon a lot more than Richardson although Minnesota also wants Blackmon but they can deal without having him as long as they get the CB or OT guy they want. |

Oh. I'll probably tune into ESPN. Could be a year McShay and Kiper come to blows/fisticuffs. |

Trent Richardson will bust hard.
Also, sucks that the first 3 picks in the draft are already known. |

I mean seriously, this is 2012. Doesn't everyone know you can get a good RB in rounds 3 and later? What are the odds Richardson even makes it through his rookie contract without suffering some sort of injury that will bother him the rest of his career? The shelf life of a RB is too short to spend so much

I almost didn't recognize the draft without the 49ers picking in the Top 10. That's why this year felt so different!
