Yeah, there has been a lot of shuffling guys in and out of the lineup. Great opportunity for Wilson although I could see the Giants signing a veteran back if one happens to get cut this weekend. The most experienced back on the Giants roster is Ryan Torain.

Ralph Vacchiano @RVacchianoNYDN 22m
Some other FA RBs still on the market: Michael Turner, Ryan Grant, Cedric Benson, Willis McGahee ... @gatorboyrb (Brandon Jacobs) Does Brandon Jacobs have a time machine allowing him to be the 2009 Brandon Jacobs? If so sign him up. |

Sadly, Jacobs may have the most left out of that lot...

Jaxobs or Turner. At least Turner would fall forward when he hit the line, not try to dance like Jacobs would.

Tebow must have saved his job tonight with those two touchdowns. Maybe not because of the sacks and the int.

I'm thinking the Giants might keep 5 RBs now that Andre Brown is supposedly only going to miss a month. Brown is important enough where I think they'll try to avoid using the temporary IR spot and losing him for longer than they have to. Da'Rel Scott makes the team. To make up his spot, Adrien Robinson goes on the temporary IR and the Giants go with only 2 TEs. Adrian Tracy misses out because there's just no way I can't put Shaun Rogers on the team, the big guy was great all preseason. 6 DTs seems like a bit much but Cullen Jenkins can shift to DE if need be. Obv missed with the Aaron Curry pick. Kyle Bosworth gets his spot. And with Stevie Brown's unfortunate injury, Tyler Sash seals up a spot. Could maybe see Cooper Taylor getting bumped but I dunno if David Caldwell has done enough to earn a spot. |

Tim Tebow released. And so may finally end his NFL career.

Probably the biggest sign that he was getting cut was when Belichick refused to put him in during the Lions game which they lost 40-9.
Also the Pats keeping Gronk on the active roster and not the PUP/IR roster meant 1 less roster spot possible for Tebow. |

That's not how the PUP works. If they're on it, they're on it until week 6.
They're not putting him on PUP, with hopes that he's ready by week 3 or 4. |

Hella surprised by Tyler Sash getting cut along with the Giants only carrying 5 LB. I'd guess a couple of LBs on other teams were cut that the Giants were interested in.
Wouldn't mind seeing them put a claim in for Jonathan Dwyer to be their short yardage back in Brown's absence. |

Wouldn't be terribly surprised if the Cowboys grab Marvin Austin, either. They seem to be having DT issues and, if nothing else, it could be an "intel pick".

Exactly, meaning he will be on the active roster and still targeted to come back week 3 against the bucs??

Don't think Gronk has an actual return date yet besides the generic "before week 6" with week 3 or 4 being the likely bets for his return.
Reason he's not in the first 2 weeks is due to having little to no practice since camps and preseason started. Had he been on the PUP, he would have been forced out from both practice and games until week 6 regardless if he was medically cleared or ready before then. |

Only notable cut the Broncos made was letting Lance Ball go.
Big shocker is that Ronnie Hillman is the starting runningback. With Montee Ball 2nd and Knowshon down in third. If anyone's looking for a surprise runningback for fantasy. He's your man. |

As somebody who stupidly put faith in Darren McFadden as my number 2 RB and then had to overbid for a backup plan (Montee Ball), I can safely say - FUCK!

Speaking of the Raiders, their 53-man roster includes 4 QBs and 2 punters.

Kinda surprised the Pats let Mesko go. He was pretty good at getting them out of bad field position situations.

Packers sign Seneca Wallace to back up Aaron Rodgers. Packers also sign Scott Tolzien to their practice squad in an effort to poach the 49ers signals/trick plays.
