From all accounts I've read (basically, this thread), the cunt who got slapped should have been reprimanded more than ADR.
But such is life. Sounds like he is at least landing on his feet already. |

Alberto Del Rio and Barbie Lashley deserved what they got.

I can understand Del Rio's anger and frustration, to be honest. Racism should not be tolerated. I don't know how this guy's beef with Del Rio and the difference in the handling of the release have gone under the company's nose.
I think Del Rio might have a better chance of being a bigger deal elsewhere. I mean, in far as company focus goes -- there's obviously no place bigger than the WWE. He plans to be involved in AAA's TripleMania, which is a pretty good deal for him. But with GFW working with GFW and New Japan, he could find a place doing exchange work with both those companies and being treated as a major attraction. I could very easily see Alberto Rodriguez as AAA's poster boy going against AJ Styles of GFW and Hiroshi Tanahashi of NJPW. |

So is going to be the WWE's new Hispanic attraction? Mistico didn't work out due to alleged attitude problems and a resistance to adapting his style. Hunico could have been something interesting, but was reduced to a stereotype and his current portrayal of Sin Cara hasn't been built on. And he actually seems to be more awkward playing the character each week. Kalisto has a lot of energy and does some cool stuff, but it hasn't gone much beyond that.
Maybe the WWE should just go with Hunico, drop the Sin Cara gimmick, give him a new attitude and pretend he's a solid mid-carder all of a sudden. At least until Kalisto debuts and can defeat him. |

They should just push Hunico as Sin Cara. The Sin Cara character is much more "money" than Hunico.

Bring Kallisto up, have Sin Cara become jealous, and eventually lose the mask to be revealed as Old Man Hunico all along.

Pretty much a Stone Cold/Lucha hybrid with Alberto Del Rio coming back and feuding with the social media employees, he won't have to work the ring, just see him jump the railing and go straight to the back, exclusive to the WWE App. He becomes a hot commodity and everyone goes home happy That's a little too Attitude Era like so I know not to hold my breath, I'd love to see him smash dishes on that social media guy's ass |

I think from the limited information we seem to have, ADR was dealt with harshly. Of course if this guy was a high ranking person at wwe.com then attacking him physically probably wasn't the smartest move, but also from other reports I've read, that guy had a history of being a cunt and probably had what was coming to him. This is the internet though, so grain of salt and all that stuff.
There's probably a heap, more that we'll never know about which contributed to all this, but hopefully it might make another talent think twice before doing the same thing down the track. |
