AJ being the Hurricanes whipping boy on WWF Metal. They really dropped the ball here.
here is Alex Shelly's WWE tryout. Another time that WWE's loss is TNA's gain. and again for Kaz. Yes he started out ok in WWF but you know what happens..... Lo - Ki vs Christian from back in the early 02. Wow. |

I love how Hayashi kicks out of the styles clash so easily.

So I'm watching TNA for the first time in like two years. Glad to see there's a regular 4-sided ring, but what I want to know is this...what is the point in a NON-TITLE "I Quit" match? I thought those matches were supposed to resolve feuds completely.

It's TNA. They overuse gimmick matches.
I had a problem with the tag match being a ladder match because it's the start of a series, too. |

SCHLOMEY RANKS THIS WEEK IN WRESTLING (ending 7/17)
Ok another mixed bag this week. Seemed like all the shows this week had good moments and tons of questionable ones. Anywho, on with the ranking. 4. WWE Monday Night RAW - 3 straight weeks at the bottom. This show was highlighted by the Randy Orton vs Edge match. However, the main event letdown & the Brady Bunch abortion was enough to make me question if I'll continue tuning in or not. I am actually getting upset at myself for tuning in week after week at this point. 3. NXT - Pretty weak show as a whole. We got a talk show & a Mark Henry match. The main event battle royal was pretty sweet (ran a lil long really) but the rest of the show was just background noise. 2. TNA Impact - Impact finally knocked down a spot after 2 straight weeks at number 1. Impact had good moments and matches but when it sucked...it really sucked. I actually liked the Knockouts brawl/match too. Kendrick vs Williams was a product of over booking but at least it was a good tv match. Having Lethal lose to Hardy right after going over Flair is dumb but again, at least it was a good tv match. The second half of impact had good matches....the ending was back to the unusual/sucky part of the program. 1. Smackdown! - Finally a Smackdown that quenched my thirst. I loved the entire show and even the Swagger/Kane shit was at least tolerable. The worst thing we had to endure was a mixed tag featuring Christ Masters...The rest of the show was spot on really. MATCHES OF THE WEEK (MUST WATCH) RAW 1. Edge vs Randy Orton NXT 1. Battle Royal Main Event Impact! 1. Beer Money vs MCMG 2. Jeff Hardy vs Jay Lethal 3. Samoa Joe vs Rob Terry vs Desmonde Wolfe 4. Brian Kendrick vs Doug Williams - I Quit (how often do we see those on TV?) SMACKDOWN 1. Cody Rhodes vs Kofi Kingston 2. Drew McIntire vs Christian Not a match but the "moment" of the week was the looks exchanged between Big Show & CM Punk during the mask removal segment. PRICELESS and VINTAGE Punk facials of awesomeness. |

Dolph Ziggler is the man. His psychology is amazing, and he bumps like a champ.

I have only been a member here since November and I already feel like one of the fellas. I love this place & especially the live chats. Good times. 5 THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT YOUR PAL SCHLOMEY: 1. I don't wear shoes unless I have to. I'm a flip flop or barefoot type of guy. 2. I straighten my hair before hitting the town. No Jew fro anyways. 3. When i'm hungry I can sit down and eat an entire Little Caesars 5 dollar pizza 4. Contrary to number 3, I am actually average size. 5. I have 3 Starting Line Up action figures at my desk. Still in boxes. Ken Griffey Jr. from the old Mariners days, Will Clark from Texas Rangers days & Paul Molitor - old school Brewers. Ok I refuse to create a thread based on this shitty little milestone but I thought this would be a good way for the W forums to get to know the resident nice guy. Have a wonderful day |
