Graves just shook Miz's hands. Could legit see it being the Miz who attacked Enzo and WWE using it to test another Big Cass solo run (with Enzo as manager).

Thought it was a good show. Only real dud was Alexa/Bayley.
Show was even better due to multiple "LOCK JAW NATION" sightings throughout the show. |

Weird as this is to say, because I am quite opposed to the brand split, I'd prefer it if they treated Great Balls as the RAW SummerSlam equivalent, and allowed SmackDown to have SummerSlam, just to give things some more breathing room.
I'll probably try to check out Lesnar vs. Joe, provided that it is not a squash. I don't think it will be. A great chance for Joe to earn some credibility points by hanging in there with Lesnar. Do you think we're heading towards The Miz & Maryse vs. Dean Ambrose & Renee Young? I don't hate that idea. It's something for Ambrose. |

I think we were a few months ago, but plans changed and I think that ship has sailed. Especially since Renee is Smackdown, and only comes to RAW on PPV days for pre and post show stuff.

Probably just a rematch for the IC Title then.

The preshow match was better than everything but the cage match and the 5 way. Crowd was dead for the submission match..beachballs came out..ugh..
Had a hipster try to move down to empty seats right before the main event and then when rent a security showed up he told em to go get real cops so these two big black dudes that looked like the AOP came and dragged his ass away during brays entrance |

These gimmick PPVs don't really help the talent at all. Just tell a damn story.

God damn this was a boring PPV. Had me snoozing before the main event, unfortunately. I re-watched a portion of the 5 way and it seems to be really good, leagues above the rest of the card. Joe/Lesnar should be good, IF and only if it isn't turned into a squash. Lesnar can go over but they really need to make Joe "credible" in front of a WWE viewing audience.
Glad to see Cesaro/Sheamus win the tag titles, but for a cage match it seemed rather blah. |

I watched a bunch of the card. Kind of echo Drave's sentiment. 5 way was good. Honestly, it didn't feel "special", just a very good RAW main event. 5 ways are stupid anyways. Nice to see Joe go over.
Hardy's vs C and S was okay, but I distinctly got the idea they were holding back. |

The opener was really good.
Mixed tag was a standard Raw match but at least the crowd loved it. Kendo stick was a nothing match and they undeniably buried Bayley. Tag team cage was a bit of a mess, tag cage matches are the only ones where it actually makes sense to have pinfall victories because otherwise you get a huge logical flaw like you did in this one. Aries/Neville was pretty meh aside from the finish, easily the worst of their 3 PPV matches. Main event was what I expected it to be, fun stuff. |

Wish the 5 way would have been elimination style. Would have been more impactful.

That main even was really good. I really came out liken Balor a lot more. And the stuff with Bray and Joe working together was great. Also that frogsplash from Seth was amazing.
The tag team cage match was pretty good too. The womans title match was terrible. Makes no sense. WWE must be done with Bayley. The IC match would have been good, but some of the shit in that match made no sense whatsoever. The ref was terrible. He over played his character. Aries vs Neville was good. Kinda shocked Aries didnt win. Everything else was pretty meh. Decent PPV though. Maine event was a good one for sure. |

Just me or did it feel like they were avoiding saying "Great Balls of Fire". Font think anyone said it in reference to when the winner of the main event would get their shot until Graves said it right at the end of the show.

I would think he got that rep from his look, and how well he plays the "badass" role. And I doubt when most people see that spot, they're thinking about how stupid the other guy is. I sure didn't think that about Tiger mask, when Dynamite did it to him. I just thought it made dynamite look cool.

Kid immediately capitalized, treating the other guy like a threat. Samoa joe just shits on the other guy making him look like he's beneath him. When the only reason people think you're tough is because other people make you look like you are you should do them a favor and not shit on their image to get yourself over.
