Can Anderson Silva return to the top?
We all know that Anderson Silva suffers a terrible injury in his match with Chris Weidman, so my question is: can Anderon return to the octagon and once again be the Middleweight Champion?
Because now, he's injured leg is going to be targeted by all the MMA fighters. They will put a bull's eye on that leg. Don't judge me for loving wrestling cause I'm a girl. Girls love fights to, y'know! |

Hello NoyaPerez20.
Apparently that leg will be stronger than ever due to the metal rods and whatnot. However I think between Sonnen and Weidman there is now a blueprint for beating anderson silva. He will personably still dick Nick Diaz but his record against top middleweight contenders is likely to be patchy at best from here on out. Plus last time he fought weidman you could tell he was afraid, fought very one dimensionally and stuff. |

I don't think the issue will be the strength of the leg. I think the issue will be his confidence, firstly, in throwing kicks etc.., but more importantly, Weidman caught him for really the first time in his career, will he have the same confidence in his abilities again?
Long-term, if he were to come back and get back to the top again, it would cement his legacy as the best pound for pound fighter of all time. It would probably do more for his legacy long term than staying undefeated as champion and having people question the quality of his opponents |

Even though his doctor said his leg will be stronger than ever with those rods I still think there will be those fighters without honor who will try to use every opportunity they can to win and will attack that leg despite it being much less vulnerable now.

He won't fight for a title again. Machida, the Vitor Bro, Rockholdt, Jacare, and Yoel are closer. He will come back and win a few super fights and retire a Legend.
