Had no idea there was a fight night. Is it just me or has the ufc marketing machine taken a step backwards?

That guy is pretty fuckin' impressive.
Love fighters that mostly win by KO, not really a fan of submissions. |

That was a good night of fights. The co-main was really fun too. Surprised that guy was even conscious after eating those two shots.

Also, the hype video for McGregor vs Aldo was sick, but it really sent a message to me. Root for McGregor, bet on Aldo.

Yeah. Hype or not betting against Aldo at this point is ridiculous.

Romero knocking Asians out and hating gays afterwards. Impressive.

He said nothing about gays.
He said "not forget Jesus". "Not for gay jesus" means nothing. |

He hasn't lost in ten years and has beaten the best of the best in the UFC for the past six years. It would be like betting against GSP, Silva, or Jones. Sure all those guys can be beat but why pick against the p4p greatest alive.

Bingo. Aldo is an amazing fighter... McGregor is pretty "untested". I'm not saying he isn't good, but he has never faced someone like Aldo. This is basically trial by fire, and he's being thrown into an inferno.

Ok.
McGregor's record looks solid as well, though. |

Yeah but he didn't face any of the former title challengers on the way to his title shot. The best fighter he faced was Dustin Poirier who was ranked number 6 at the time. He should have faced Frankie Edgar, Chad Mendes, Ricardo Lamas, Korean Zombie, etc on his road to a title shot. He has the skills to beat Aldi and possibly KO him, but at this point, picking against Aldo is ridiculous and if McGregor is the favorite, bet the house on Aldo.

Might be time for Machida to stop. He seems to have lost some of his athleticism.

I agree but he shouldn't have taken such a quick turnaround after getting mauled by Rockhold
