He did look good in the loss, and I'm glad for Z's sake that they didn't take the easy route and have Dolph interfere. That would have completely killed any momentum that Zack built in the match. He's currently at a "this close" to getting over on the more casual fans who haven't seen ZTLIS.

Z is gaining so much momentum, soon every superstar will wanna be "associated" with him in some shape or form.
Calling it right now: Z Ryda will be the next biggest star since John Cena. Back then people were posting threads asking "Who do you think will be the next big star after John Cena?" Some people said so and so and some people said this person is not in the WWE yet. Well folks, the answer is right under our noses. And his name is Zack Ryder. I predict him main eventing a WrestleMania in a couple of years Only thing he has to worry about is staying fresh and being able to evolve his gimmick once the whole Jersey Shore craze lays to rest. Like I said before, as long as his loyal fanbase continues to grow and stay in tact, he will be hard to ignore. And he's not like RVD in 2001, he is homegrown talent so I see no reason in Vince trying to hold him down. Let's just hope guys like Curt Hawkins doesn't hold him back. Z Ry has the right attitude and the business smarts, so it's only a matter of time. Plus he could work well as a heel and a face. I don't even know if I could go to sleep. Might as well stay up and pull an all-nighter waiting for the new episode Also just look at guys like Mankind and Big Show. In their initial phases, at first look, you would've never thought they'd be in a main event match at WrestleMania. |

Inno, I'm not sure if that was the most epic one yet. It left me hungry for more Big O. There were better ones
Does anyone remember which episode has the most Big O coverage? Or the episode where Big O squeals like a banshee? |

That still of Zack before you press play, with his hair all non-spiked, and the angle of the shot...
Makes him look like Daniel Bryan. This can only lead me to believe that if Daniel Bryan only spiked his hair, he would instantly have ten times more charisma. |

From Wrestling Observer:
Meltzer was texted during the show by a WWE employee stating that the reason Zack was not on the show is because "Vince hates the internet". Backstage, many, many people were upset that the person getting the most chants throughout the night was not brought out for a promo or even a quick appearance in his hometown who clearly wanted him there. Meltzer got some more information today on the thought process. Evidently, it was indeed a rib/joke being played on Zack. Zack had spent his prior show talking up how he was in his hometown, how excited he was, how this could be his chance to finally shine and move up on the card. Zack was told a few days ago he would have a promo and a match on RAW and would turn face on RAW, even being able to acknowledge his youtube show and Internet Champion gimmick. This is why Zack was so excited the past few days. The rib went so far as there was even a fake script and timeline alloted for Zack to come out and wrestle, besides Superstars, with his RAW promo and on air face turn. When the time came close for this to happen, Zack was informed plans changed and he would not be on air. This was literally during the broadcast. The entire rib was Vince's idea and was because Vince is not a fan of the "bashing" Zack does about WWE and sees it as "giving in" to someone who is visibly bashing the company with "dropping ball" clips, etc. Meltzer comments that the real joke is on the fans, as the reaction to him not being on air is not pretty and as the rib is being revealed, even less people are happy. Multiple wrestlers have stated their public displeasure with the rib and John Cena was said to directly confront Vince over the situation and what he felt was a poor joke. --- Wow. Just...wow. |

Eventually Vince will cave. He let Matt Hardy back after that whole internet fiasco. Give it some time. Plus Cena has his back
As CM Punk says...Faith gotta admit though, Vince pulled a good one. Probably his best one yet |

I wouldn't doubt it's real seeing as they sent Mark Henry out for a dark match against Sin Cara a couple weeks ago, they planned for the match and everything. Instead Mark was left standing around 20 minutes as a bunch of themes were played before he got pissed off and left.
