I was watching this summer movie preview show today. They were showing like 1-2 minute clips of all these summer movies but then they only showed a 10 second thing from Napoleon Dynamite. It was the part where he tried to ride the bike over the ramp and it collapsed.

I missed like the first 15 minutes
I am going to see it again at least like 34 times though so no worries. |

Yeah, there is like no "adult" material at all. No cursing either. He says "gosh" and "heck" and "freakin" and "flippin" a lot. The lead actor is a mormon so isn't allowed to curse or something.

So, I am sitting in the food court at the mall, eating some Arby's right? Okay, I am just looking around, enjoying my sandwich and curly fries, I look over towards the cinema. "Coming Soon" Napoleon Dynamite!! poster. Seeing it most definitely now.

Just got back from seeing it in Sacramento. It was funny. Not one of the funniest movies I've ever seen... but pretty funny.

Also, there's an extra scene in it apparently that wasn't in it when it was first released. Don't know what scene it was though.

Suck my dick, #1-wwf-fan.
Also, the extra scene should have been some wedding scene at the end. What happens? |

Fuck. Probably after the credits. I missed it. It was like 12:30 and my friend was complaining that he wanted to start heading home cause he had to work in the morning. Fucking pussy.
And I said it was funny. BACK OFF. The characters were funny and well written and all. The guy that played Napoleon was quite good. It was no Anchorman though. |

I saw it tonight, pretty funny. The action figure on fishing wire is the greatest scene ever. If Anchorman wasn't out, this would be my favorite comedy of the year so far.
The extra scene is so great, it sucks if you missed it. Napoleon comes riding in on a horse, and it had me cracking up. His brother sings a song at his wedding, which is a good laugh too. |

What the hell are you talking about. Anchorman "had its moments" at best. I wasn't ROFL through the whole thing like I was during Napoleon Dynamite. Anchorman was funny, yeah, but not hilarious.

I saw it TONIGHT. OMG funniest movie I've seen in like ever. I thought it was funnier than Anchorman. Anchorman had like parts where nothing funny is happening and then something really really ROFL happens and its funny but this had me laughing the whole time.

Just saw a comercial for it. Looks OK, I think they did a shitty job on the preview though. I still have high hopes.

I still really want to see this. I got pumped when the commercials said "showing everywhere July 23", only to find that it wasn't showing anywhere near me.

I may or may not go see it again tomorrow night with some more people. It was actually a pretty easy hour long drive when I saw it the first time and the theater was pretty nice.
