He wasn't the only one, that chick Christina is Alicia Fox's sister who was also in FCW. Doesn't change anything for me.

WWE has never had a competition or something up to vote where it wasn't rigged in a way.
I'd be more concerned about their habit of hiring almost everyone from a contest which makes winning the thing a bit moot if everyone else wins in the end. The Divas Searches were the worst examples of this since WWE ended up hiring almost everyone each season and making the supposed contest seem like a "waste" of time. |

Of course Tough Enough and pretty much all reality shows are in a way "rigged". A good example of this that always used is The Real World. Their first season had a fat chick, and a loner guy, a slob, now everyones drunk, perfect body and bisexual. How M-Dogg 20 was the second person cut (or was there to start with) is beyond me.

Dunno. For some reason started to really like this song
Probably just because of the "association" that comes with it. |

Fuck, can't believe Lucky Cannon was eliminated from NXT. He was the best thing (other than Maryse) about NXT this season. It has to do with it coming out that he was arrested for impersonating a police officer. Totally wouldn't be surprised to see him get released in a couple of days.

Who cares if it was rigged? There we no spoilers out and no one knew who the winner was going to be besides for the WWE (And who knows if they were 100% sold). Basically, it does not matter because everyone was up in the air for everyone watching at home.

Only could find his promo and not the full match outside of WWE's own non-linkable links of the recent Superstars episode from Long Island. |

Again, we all know wrestling is scripted. I enjoy being a smartass as much as the next guy, but to keep ignoring the intent behind the statment to belittle the statement itself is just stupid. It seems like an expensive effort in both time and money to promote something that, in the end, doesn't matter. I am going to use NXT as an example again. If the intent is to call up ALL of the best performers you think can make it to the next level, why even bother presenting it as a competition where "only one can win", then we see 5 of the losers on SmackDown the next week while the "winner" gets Superstars duty and/or "future endeavored"? There is no logic in this, even in the world of wrestling, even to the casual fans with short term memories. They're asking the viewer to suspend belief, which is the nature of the beast itseklf. They're putting it over as some grand concept of drama, and give you the parameters in which they want you to accept the show, then afterwards, they say "all that shit about this being a one-winner contest? We made that shit up!" Use that creative energy you wasted putting together a season of Topugh Enough to give guys that are ALREADY ON THE ROSTER something to do. Use the timeslot for another hour of RAW. Make a show centered around a cruiserwieght title. Something. Just don't say "Here, you should care about this!" and when it's over, treat the audience like they wasted their time caring about it. |

Better example. Let's say R-Truth wins the title. he has a long, drawn out chanse where John Cena just can't win it back. 6 months of nearfalls, stipulations, run ins, and intertwining angles later, he FINALLY wins the title back on PPV. Then, instead of celebrating, he immediately cuts a promo saying "You know what, folks? This belt doesn't matter. It's fake and scripted, and I don't give a crap about it." And drops it on the ground and walks off. Now please, don't take this opportunity to turn this into an anti-Cena thing. I just sued those two because they're the RAW main event picture right now.
I'm just saying that in this world that is wrestling, a World Title in general is the be all, end all, and then suddenly, you're being told by the new champion that it doesn't mean anything. And not in that Shane Douglas "I'd rather defend THIS title" way. The whole angle waste and you've just been told this in no uncertain terms. This is kind of the same idea. IT'S NOT THAT IT'S SCRIPTED. WE GET THAT. THAT'S GIVEN. MOVE BEYOND THAT STATEMENT. |

Shea stadium footage is pretty good, weird how soft the canvas looked though, the wrestlers boots appeared to be sinking into it in some areas.

I was working last night and it wasn't until about 5:30 pm that I heard on the radio that TNA was in my town doing a show lol. Anyways we pulled into the arena to see if any of the Knockouts were out behind but none.
What was funny was when Matt Morgan came out to hack a butt. I wasn't surprised but the guy I was with was so surprised. Anyways, didn't see any of the girls, and continued on with my night. Also Jarrett gave a solid interview on one of the local radio stations about an hour later. |

Apparently the Kings of Wrestling had some sort of tryout with the WWE. The reports are saying they were "working out" in the ring before the show with WWE officials, so I'm guessing it's some sort of tryout at least.

Are WWE actually starting to put together a tag division? Can't see any other reason to bring back Murdoch since he wont get anywhere in singles, pairing him with Husky Harris to take on Nexus would be the obvious route.

I never understood how Savio Vega had a job. Besides for being Cuban or whatever, he is bland and forgettable.
