Olympic Hockey 2014
Yes there is more than one sport in the Olympics, but being a Canadian hockey guy I have but one focus. So I call on my fellow Canadian posters to give their opinions on the Canadian Roster... as well as any other poster from other nations to give their opinions on their country's squad or ours. Thank you.
Okay I call on my fellow Canadian posters to make their opinions known: TEAM CANADA MEN'S HOCKEY ROSTER Goaltenders Roberto Luongo 6'3" 217 04/04/79 Montreal, Que. Canada sucks outside of North America. Their junior teams suck and their olympic teams suck when they travel.

Whats the difference between buying this and the EA sports NHL games, Is the interna/onal roster different cause NHL seems to have the Euro-soviet leagues and players.

I sure hope America has some sort a special cohesiveness because aside from there goaltending, they don't stack up. I would have gone with Craig Anderson instead of Jimmy Howard. Probably even over Miller

Miller is probably the #1 contender for the Vezina. That Buffalo team is awful and he's been great. Plus he's got a track record in international play. He was amazing in Vancouver 2010.

Team Canada:
They should have included USSR stats under Russia. Looks odd that there are only 2 results listed against them. |

Fuck is Valeri Nichushkin ever impressive to watch. He's going to be a star in the NHL. Reminds me of a young Jaromir Jagr with his size and puck control.

lol Canada just does not play well on big ice. I have a feeling they are going to run into a hot goaltender and not medal. They should have crushed Norway. Was not impressed.
Also I can see why Alex Radulov has flamed out in the NHL. Such a selfish player. Russia is getting away from that and he's a Russian type from the early 2000's. |

I hate hot goalies so much - because Canada never has a hot goalie and always gets owned by hot goalies, while outshooting and outplaying the other team.
I am still haunted by Richter in the 1996 Canada Cup. I wish that Lemieux had played in that tourney. Apparently, the Russians are hoping for a Canada-Russia gold medal match. I've read that the '72 Summit Series has been playing on Russian TV all week. Gotta love the two Super-Powers of hockey. |

They had a stretch today in the third period that it looked like the puck was glued to their sticks. Nichushkin was a friggen wizard. To think he's only 19. 6"4 and skates like a friggen horse on a track. |

The Swiss are going to be a dangerous team in the next round. Reallly gave the Swedes a run for their money. They block shots like crazy. Berra looked great except for that one goal.
