I know US was delayed for Memorial Day weekend, so could be extension of that. I downloaded it either cause wouldn't be able to wait, despite the fact I dont have cable...

I just downloaded it. I think that's what I'm going to start doing instead of waiting for it to show here.

I sent XCaliber a YT link for the last ep that isn't region restricted, I could post them here whenever they show up? Official BBC too so the quality is good.

Annoys me that we will have to wait until Spetember (?) for the rest of the season. I think Torchwood is back in July, so that should fill the void somewhat.

Torchwood is absolutely horrible. Especially since they killed all the good characters off (minus Jack of course). Not even the pedophile aliens from Children of Earth could save the series for me.

Nice ending, probably slightly obvious if you overthink things while watching them like I don't.
Bit disappointed the Cybermen weren't used more, since they're probably my favourite villain species, as it turns out they probably weren't needed at all since the Silurians and Sontaran nurse had all the screen time. Judoon seemed tacked in too. |

Enjoyed it though didn't feel like paying too much attention to it. I've really gone off this series ever since the first two episodes.

Surely "Let's Kill Hitler" is enough to make you want to come back?

The first two eps DID set the bar ridiculously high, tbh.

So I started a download almost immediately after the show aired UK time. It took me five hours, I open it... and the audio is out of sync.

Doesn't even come on till next week here. I scored another DL and watched it though.
I was more excited in the build up than I was for the end. All the Doctor's old allies/nemesis coming together was pretty epic and then it went down hill. Once the baby's name was revealed I put two and two together pretty quick. The thing is, I can't help but feel like it's all down hill from here for this season. We know there's a happy ending to this twist by the very existence of certain characters through all the different points in time. I don't see them being able to get the intrigue and suspense back in the second half that the first two eps had. |

Do you guys in the UK have trailers for an episode called "Time Runs Out?" I watched a UK torrent rip of the finale and it said Doctor Who would return with "Let's Kill Hitler" but over here we've got a trailer that shows a skeleton's hand holding a flickering sonic screwdriver... which has me much more pumped than an episode based around Hitler but I'm wondering if it's the same episode, just a different title.

It's not a trailer for an episode, it's just a teaser for the second half of the series as a whole.

Downloading the season now, but from the previews, reviews, spoilers, and other stuff I've seen, the season looks REALLY good. However, I don't see anything that couldn't have been done without the cliffhanger. I mean, the River reveal was cool (Not sure I truly like it, butstill), but it didn't need a layover until September to do.

Well Maybe.... I think the Doctor and his ganger switched places at the end of the Almost People episode. The ganger was the one who sensed that Amy was pregnant and revealed who she truly was in the end inside the Tardis. Plus, it would allow the ganger to be the one killed by River. |

True. But the Doctor is a time lord while the others were mere human. I think that could be where the twist comes in.
I'm probably reaching with all this, but unless they plan on making River the new doctor for awhile I feel like that would be the easiest out for them. |

Looking at this footage it's hard to say if it will be as good as the 1st half or not either way I can't wait.

There's enough to get me slobbering like Pavlov's dogs, but honestly, I don't know if it's actually going to be good. This trailer does tease us properly, though.

Ok, Fear Her wasn't that good. Love and Monsters I think was decent and I thought a sidestory might come from it ala Torchwood.
Still, 2 mediocre episodes in 6 seasons is pretty good. |
