Recommend me a new heatsink...
So Id been having problems with overheating for a while (had been going up to 95+c) so decided to finally reseat and reapply the thermal paste. Unfortuantely two of the pushpins bent on the stock intel heatsink. Always hated dealing with these things anyway, so any reccomendations on a new heatsink that doesnt have the pushpin gimmick? Or at least ones that fucking work.
Its a socket 775, not sure if that helps or not. |

Pretty sure they're all push pin unless you go with something like this - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835181016

Probably the best site to pick from. Most of them require adding their own hardware to the motherboard, so if your case doesn't make it accessible, I'd probably try and pick from the few that have push-pins. |
