I think LSU is gonna win, but after watching all these bowl games the SEC wasn't as good as I thought this year so I dunno. I still think LSU is gonna win, but I think its gonna be closer than I expected earlier.

LSU ends up coming out with the W, too many dumb mistakes by Ohio State and LSU was able to capitalize on almost every single one.

They said he had a stinger at first and that his arm was numb or something. Then they mentioned something about a strain I think, not totally sure what the deal was but it had to do with his shoulder
I dunno what his draft stock is gonna be like, he was a great college safety no doubt but I dunno how his speed matches up with other draft prospects |

Did you mean to say "Brownies?" Or is there something I am missing with brown eyed people?
As I said, watched American Gladiators and it was far more exciting than the football I watched after. |

I'm not anti-football. This was just a terribly boring way to end one of the most interesting college football seasons in years.

Yeah the BCS Bowl games where pretty weak sauce. There was some great bowl games though, I really enjoyed the BC/Michigan State one (from what I can remember anyway, had a few too many that day) and the UF/Michigan one was awesome.
Its just sad to know that there is no college football again until September |

Honestly, in this format, I don't know what the right BCS championship should have been. On one hand I feel like LSU is a top team but I'm not convinced that they are the best team in the nation. I never thought Ohio State was the second best team either, but you can't really knock them off because they only lost one game. This is the year when they really needed a playoffs (to be fair, in most seasons the BCS national championship has the two obvious best teams).
Honestly, I thought Oklahoma should have been No. 2 and in the BCS championship, but they didn't really prove my point in the Fiesta Bowl. I still think that on a given night they could be the best team in the nation though. Not in any order, I think any of these teams could have won an 8-team playoff: LSU, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Georgia. Maybe USC. |

Only a maybe for USC...really?
And to be fair, the BCS hasn't always picked the two most obvious teams becase outside of 2003 there hasn't been obvious teams. Every other year there has been debate |

God damn Ohio State really crumbled under pressure. I didn't watch much of the second half because I was at a bar but it looked like after LSU tied the game a lot of guys just quit. Malcolm Jenkins played awful even with his interception. Pretty terrible showing after getting shit on the entire season for being overrated.
Chris Wells is winning the Heisman next year though. |

Ryan Mallet, who most had as the #2 QB coming outta high school year behind Clasen, is leaving Michigan. Can't say that I'm surprised, he doesn't really fit that offense. Where ever he ends up though is gonna be getting a great QB, of course he'll have to sit out next season due to transfering. I really hope he doesn't go to Tennessee but I think that's where'll end up. Last edited by Jesus Shuttlesworth; 01-09-2008 at 09:19 PM. |

Slaton isn't gonna do shit in the NFL, he seemed to be pretty soft in college. Whatever though, now its gonna be the Noel Devine show
Laurentis coming back is pretty huge, so far only one of like 18 or whatever underclassmen who filed paperwork to the NFL have officially declared (that being defensive end Vernon Gholston one of the most insanely jacked human beings I have ever seen) |

Yeah he is, I think he was only a freshman too this past season but he was starting already at defensive end. I remember them mentioning something about Ironhead being his father during the BCS game, then I noticed on his eye black it read "IRON" on one side and "HEAD" on the other

Terelle Pryor will either sign with Penn State, Ohio state or Michigan tommorow on National Signing day.
Hopefully he will sign with Michigan as it would be so huge. |

I hope he signs with Michigan too, I've always liked Michigan for some reason but not even considering that he will be a perfect fit for that offense. He won't really do much for Ohio State, I read his arm is kinda overrated from a few different sites
