Not a chance can't count anybody out yet. Still a lot of basketball that needs to be played. Can't wait for both of the game 6's.

Increasing talk about the Heat "big three" not being together next season if Miami is eliminated by Boston. If this does in fact happen, I wonder who goes. My guess would be Bosh, but he's shown to be very valuable to that team, they've really missed him these playoffs. Would LeBron opt out?

No way. He's not ready to abandon his claim of winning "not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven, but multiple championships" with them.

If anything, Miami dumps D. Wade.

If Miami does in fact decide to break up the "big three", Chicago should try to get Bosh.

If Chicago got Bosh, they would be pretty damn scary as a team.

It would probably be Bosh since he's been "trashed" by everyone ever since the Heat's Big 3 formed. They really can't get rid of Wade since he's the "face of the franchise" and Lebron's image would take a huge hit if he's the one tossed out.
The weird thing is Miami really doesn't do much with him except have him grab some rebounds since their entire offense revolves around Lebron or Wade with the ball. The advantage the Cs have in the series is they have a whole offensive set to revolve just around KG when needed and don't need Rondo or Pierce to be involved except for passing the ball to KG. |

The Bulls would definitely be the team to beat. As a Bulls fan, I'd be all for it.

Wade would be the odd one out. YOu don't trade the league MVP, and Bosh is invaluable. His absence has proven that. While DWade has the 'clutch' moniker. he's struggled mightly in the playoffs. His body is primed for a breakdown.

Wow Spurs picked the wrong time to struggle. Had a 2-0 series lead and the undefeated playoff record only to see that gets wrecked in the next 4 games. To cap it off they blow the biggest lead ever in the team's playoff history.
Durrant one step closer to becoming the new top star of the NBA assuming the Thunder were to win the title. |

This Spurs/Thunder series could be a mirror image of what would happen if OKC faces Boston in the Finals.

After today, I'm convinced that the First Take "debates" Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith do are scripted.

Maybe it's the way Stephen A. Smith acts (or overacts), IDK.
I'd have to go back and watch the show to point out specifics. |

Lebron hinted the team and himself in general is starting to get tired which could play a huge role if they were to advance to the Finals while the Celtics making sure the Graden is uncomfortable for the Heat during pre-game warm ups.
They set the stadium's temperature to the 50s just to try to disrupted the Heat's warmups since they are not used to cold courts. Might have even placed a sheet of ice for hockey underneath the court just for this game like it normally is during the season for Bruins games. |

what is with the Cs and having a fear of closing out series the first chance possible.
Most likely will lose this one with how bad they've played all game and something like 14-11 when it comes to ending a series since the Big 3 formed. Thunder are benefiting the most since either they get what will be a tired Lebron who had to do all the work for the Heat for the Finals or a Cs team who barely had any rest in between series. |

What I don't understand is how Miami doesn't play like this all the time. So far they've turned it up when they've had to (against Indiana and now), but how many times can you do that until it catches up with you?

Had a feeling this could happen. I guess almost losing is the "choke symbol" from the last series.
No reason to think Labron could do that two games in a row. Series goes to Game 7 and the Thunder watch and rest. No matter who wins on Saturday. I think we will have a somewhat quick NBA Finals with the Thunder taking it. |

Yeah, I don't see the Heat or Boston beating OKC.
But then again, we've seen my predictions turn to shit, so I won't even go any further. |

I think Miami can give OKC problems. Lebron and Bosh primarily. OKC is still a jump shooting team, but so was Dallas last year. They both have played with great defense. If it's a close game though thr Thunder have proved to be able to close em out. Where as Lebron freezes and lays back
