Did not know anyone here liked PTA films, but glad they do
PTA Magnoila (fave film #2) Boogie Nights Punch-Drunk Love Martin Scorsese Casino Goodfellas The Departed Richard Kelly Donnie Darko (fave film #1) Southland Tales I loved the above two with all my heart, but I have not seen anything else from this geezer, so I'll use my 3rd up for him just because of the two. |

Alfred Hitchcock
Vertigo Psycho Shadow of a Doubt Steven Spielberg E.T. Jaws Raiders of the Lost Ark Sergio Leone Once Upon a Time in the West The Good The Bad and The Ugly Fistfull of Dollars The truth of the matter is I'd probably put Scorcese, Tarantino or maybe even someone else in that third slot, but Leone is way up there for me and since everyones saying the others I figured I'd switch it up |

Anyone seen ROPE yet? think thats Hitchcock, I really want to see it because it takes place in like one scene (location) and only has two transistions throughout the whole film.

Yeah I saw it for that same reason. It is all one long continuous take but each roll of film only lasted 10 mins so he would have to zoom in on someone's back and then zoom out with the new roll and stuff like that. It is real crazy to watch. The movie itself is alright.
