The greater Power video
2 things. First of all, can someone give me the name of the song during the first minute and a half of this video.
Secondly, say whether you liked this angle or not. Did you see McMahon being the Greater Power, or no? |

MC was the original higher power before Bischoff spoiled it, then Vince scrambled for a replacement.
Just saying. |

I bet it's a custom made song by Jim Johnston.
Also, who's MC? |

And for the record, the entire angle was good. Bit of a letdown being Vince but I liked it.

I don't mean wow as in it scares and or humiliates me, i mean wow as in.. Look at the steps World of Warcraft has taken to changeour culture. |

You won't find it. It's a song specifically made for this, recorded by Jim Johnston. Or so I suppose.

I remember thinking at the time it would be the Ultimate Warrior.

1) Who is this 'MC' that was mentioned earlier in this thread? Michael Cole? 2) Although the 'higher power' being Vince was a bit of a letdown, as you say, I can't think of anyone better to have been selected. It would've been illogical had a guy like Shawn Michaels been the guy (as many had hoped). I can't see Taker 'bowing down' to the likes of HBK...or Goldust...or whoever. |

1. It's a reference to the girl I posted a picture of.
2. Jake Roberts. |

I didn't follow the WWE when Jake 'The Snake' Roberts was there, and so I don't fully understand his character, but would it have made storyline sense for Undertaker to be subservient towards Jake the Snake? Also - did Jake Roberts have any reason to dislike Stone Cold Steve Austin?

Austin beat Jake at the 96 KOTR and coined the Austin 3:16 term because of Jake. It would have made perfect sense. And Jake would have been amazing with mind games.

Ok.
Yeah that sounds like it would have been cool. It might have been a bit weird for JTSR to be Taker's superior though. Sounds interesting though.... |

I loved the whole Higher Power storyline, even if it might have been obvious to some. I don't think there was anyone better than Vince to choose from, really.

Well considering that Jake and Taker did have a past in the early days trying to takedown Hulkamania it wouldn't of been too out there for Jake and Taker to be on the same side. I was really hoping for it to have been Jake Roberts but then when Vince unveiled it as himself... it was just like a big slap in the face because all it meant was more Vince/Austin instead of starting something new and interesting.
