This Caps game is probably the first game I've watched any of all season, and probably is tied for as much as I've watch in any season since the strike ended. I now remember why I used to love the playoffs so much.

Playoff OT Hockey is the best
and lol at the shot there going off the Rangers player..if he hadn't been there it'd been 2-1 series lead for the Rangers right now |

If this goes 3 OTs the Caps have played 3 playoff games at home that went at least 3 OTS and lost all 3 including 2 that went 4 OTs.

I was kind of hoping it wouldn't go this long I want to go to bed since I have to be up at 6, but I want to see how it ends.

One of the best things about NHL playoffs is how every year is guaranteed to have at least 1 marathon playoff game.

Although your precious Kings defeated my beloved Canucks, I do have to admit that the Kings were the better team and I wish them nothing but the best.
Unlike the past 3 years where the Canucks lost to the Blackhawks and Bruins, I wasn't even really that upset this time around.....much like in 2007 when my Nucks lost to the Ducks. Barring any unforseen injuries to major players (as was the case with the Canucks last year), I think the Kings are the odds on favorite to win the cup. To me atleast, they look like the most complete team in the league right now. The last team to be this deserving of a Stanley Cup victory was the Chicago Blackhawks in 2010 (as much as I don't want to admit it). |

Im thinking of going to game 6 in DC on Wednesday..I need to find a way to come up with $200 though. Definitely will try if they win game 5. I haven't been to a Caps game since they played at the old US Air Arena in Landover MD.

Well shit, Phoenix smashed my bracket all to shit.
Coyotes Kings Devils Capitals Rangers One of those teams is going to be this years cup champ. Seems a bit weird to not see Detroit, Boston, Chicago, Vancouver, San Jose, Pittsburgh or Philly around right now. |

I'm thinking the Kings are gonna win it. They've already beat the top 2 teams in the league, so they got the whole momentum thing going and it would piss off Flyers fans(Which I'm all for) if they win with Carter and Richards.

Barring a collapse of epic proportions, this is going 7. Since they already went into Boston and won a game 7, I dont see why they cant go into MSG and win another Game 7.

Pretty good game 7 between the Caps and Rangers.
Probably going to end up as Rangers vs Kings for the Cup with how both teams have played so far in the playoffs. |
