blink-182 is back.
Tom DeLonge has once again reunited with blink-182 and the band has announced a world tour, new record, as well as released a new song.

It's only fitting for The Fraze to post a new thread about it with little to no interest from posters here on the dot net slash forums.

i can throw on dude ranch to this day and still enjoy it for what it is, but other than that most blink doesn't hold up for me at all. i did enjoy some of the stuff they did with matt skiba, i guess.

i really like the production on that album! a massive step up from cheshire cat, but still not so slickly produced that it feels plastic.

enema is when their whole shtick starts to feel forced, so i can't get into it now. at the time? i was all about it, but i was also 14, their target demographic.

I for one think the new song a super fun return for the band. A catchy, light-hearted track with some call-backs and quips to re-establish them back together.

My critique is the guitars are too compressed and quiet in the mix. Mark's bass and Tom's guitars have historically been very prominent in their stuff.

I found a few for the Austin show that aren't that ridiculous. Rise Against won't be part of the package but it's better than nothing. This isn't so much for me as I'm not the big Blink person but I might as well make it an experience that I can check off.

I still love old Blink stuff. Nice burst of nostalgia for me any time one of the classics comes on.

In no way, shape, or form would I be interested in paying anything close to those prices for pretty much any concert, let alone a 50-someodd year old Blink.

Yeah, the prices aren't justifiable for any event. Fortunate to have been a fan since the 90s and to have seen them many times. Lots of kids spout off in the blink subreddit who aren't even old enough to have been fans before their first "hiatus."
