pretty great Cs-Lakers game. Cs came up a bit short in the end.
The bigger news is the Cs lost another player due to Chris Wilcox being diagnosed with a similar cardiac problem Jeff Green had. Stiemsma now will be getting a lot of quality minutes to develop at the center spot. |

Stiemsma or whatever blocked the SHIT outta Pau today, haha. But yeah, hell of a game. Both teams looked old as hell, however. If MWP can play like this all the time, Lakers might be dangerous in the playoffs... Still waiting to see what move is made before the trade deadline.

I just read on the ESPN ticker that if Superman signs an extension to stay in Orlando, he decides the fates of the GM and coach StanVan.
Whoa. |

Sources: Orlando Magic ready to deal Dwight Howard to Nets for Brook Lopez, Kris Humphries, Marshon Brooks, & two 1st round picks. Howard would then head to Jersey/Brooklyn with Hedo & Chris Duhon.

Bulls rumored to be in trade talks with the Lakers for Gasol. Only issues is outside of Boozer, Lakers not really interested in any players and obviously Bulls won't be willing to give away any real huge names.
Rockets also want Gasol but refuse to add in Kyle Lowry in any deal while Minnesota and Golden state are ready to discuss a deal as well. Derek Rose fined $25k for criticizing refs about not being treated as a superstar and deserving all the foul calls in his favor. He felt insulted/disrespected in only getting 9 FTs against the Knicks last night. Bucks end their ongoing plan to build the team around Andrew Bogut after trading him and Stephen Jackson to the Warriors in order to get Monta Ellis, Ekpe Udoh and Kwame Brown in return. |

I liked the Melo trade when it happened, but now you can officially write it off as a disaster. The guy is a cancer.

Knicks
It was only a matter of time anyways considering D'Antoni's system doesn't work with what the Knicks have unlike what the Suns had which is why it was great there. Also didn't help that the team had no clue what to do for Lin's role once Melo returned. ESPN thinks the rift between Melo and D'Antoni once he came back along with a rumor from the NY Post about him wanting to be traded were the final straws for D'Antoni. |

Got this news when I was at work.
It was all fine and dandy when Carmelo was out and Lin showed up and gave us hope. Then he came back and it all goes to hell. If it comes out that he had a hand in this, there's no safe place in New York for him to hide. |

Celtics now rumored to be interested in the Hornets Chris Kaman to provide some needed depth at the center spot once the Hornets officially put him on the trade block. The biggest issue involves money and how much the league is willing to eat of his contract but the Cs hinted they will cover most of it.
Also rumored is Ray Allen very likely to be traded with Miami and a few big contenders interested. Celtics also rumored to be discussing about tanking next season if no deals are possible to help develop the new players and secure a top pick in the following draft. |

Lakers trade Luke Walton and a first round draft pick to Cleveland for Ramon Sessions
They also traded Steve Blake to Portland, which would send Jamal Crawford to Minnesota which would then send Michael Beasley to the Lakers |

He's not bad. He's averaging 10 points this season, can't be any worse than Derek Fisher.

Magic unable to trade Dwight Howard but reworked his current deal to add in another year with only the start of the next season guaranteed.
Spurs trade to get Stephen Jackson and in return give Richard Jefferson and a conditional 1st Rd draft pick to the Warriors. |

I was sick of Fisher too, but I am def. sad to see him go. It's bitter sweet because he's been awful but he's hit so many huge shots in his career.
