Teaser for the new trailer was released...sorta looks like, for a brief moment at the 11 second mark, Obediah Stan is in the flick.
Could be a flash back, who knows. I could also be completely wrong. EDIT: I was wrong. Did look like him though. Last edited by alvarado52; 04-13-2015 at 02:40 PM. |

I'm glad to see them embrace the inherent insanity of a hero the size of an ant. The first 2/3 of the trailer made me a little nervous that we were going to see Origin Story #8549176320. But that one gag renewed my faith. I should have known better than to doubt Marvel Studios.

At this point I'm pretty sure marvel could make a squirrel girl movie, and it would be epic as fuck.

Marvel Studios made an Antman movie and it was awesome.
Still feels weird saying it but there you go. |

Been hearing a lot of praise about this movie.
Been reading a lot of comments online about how movies like Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man are doing so well because no one's heard of them, and it relieves a lot of the pressure put on movies like Iron Man, Captain America and the Avengers. |

Watched it last night and I loved it. Was a bit drunk though and at that point I put it in my top 3 comic films. In hindsight it's probably a bit lower than that, but it's a lot of fun.
Loads of good easter eggs. |

Do you have to sit until the end of the credits for an extra scene like the other Marvel films?

Yeah there's a mid credits scene and a post credits scene.

And it's a very very good cameo. One of the best scenes in the film.

I saw it this morning (for Ģ3.50!); I liked it, but I wasn't wowed or anything. I found the humour largely fell flat.

I found it very funny at times. Michael Peņa's character was great and the running joke of him relaying stories overdubbing other people worked really well. It worked a lot better than the cringeworthy running joke of Captain America not swearing from AOU. Paul Rudd was on form, and the final battle was a brilliant mix between action and comedy.
I guess being drunk may have skewed my opinion a little, but for me it was probably just behind Guardians and Avengers in terms of comedy. |

I did like Michael Pena, and the whole Thomas the Tank Engine thing. Maybe it is because there were only five other people in the auditorium, and everyone was very quiet.
On another note, Evangeline Lily was scrumptious as always. Last edited by El Vaquero de Infierno; 07-21-2015 at 12:44 PM. |

Ended being #1 selling film during its opening week but in terms of the Marvel film phases era, only Incredible Hulk (2008) had a lower box open debut.

Brilliant film! As someone said above, lots of easter eggs and MCU references! I'm still amazed that Marvel have gone so far as to make an Antman movie, but damn, can't wait to see him in the Avengers at some point.

It's not the superhero film with the most depth or most humor but I thought it was really fun and unique. I liked all the sequences, the casting and the fx. I look forward to seeing more of Ant-Man in the Marvelverse.

I saw this yesterday. I really enjoyed it. I liked that they told a smaller (no pun intended) story that didn't need to have end-of-the-world consequences. Yeah, if
SPOILER: show In terms of the MCU pantheon, it falls somewhere in the middle for me, but it was still a really entertaining way to spend and afternoon. |

I liked it a lot. I don't know the inside stuff as far as the comics, but i'm guessing Pyms wife eventually comes back considering they never showed a face of her, not even in the picture of him and her that he looked at. I could be wrong.
I loved the fight between Ant-man and Falcon. Even though I liked it, I felt the ripped off Drunk History with the Mexican guy telling his stories about how he got the tips. |

This was alright. Just got back from seeing it.
Happy some of the Hollywood old guard are lending their star power to some of these superhero flicks. It's like a totally different flick with them in it. Michael Caine in The Dark Knight trilogy, Robert Redford in Winter Soldier, and now Michael Douglas in Ant Man. |

Absolutely loved it. Way different than most of the MCU films but fun nonetheless.
Thomas the Tank Engine rocked. |
